Patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) Underwent Bariatric Surgery Benefit more from High-Intensity Home Care.

Background: Long-term weight loss effect of bariatric surgeries for patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) remains controversial since factors like postoperative home care intensity may impact the outcome. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of home care intensity on long-term weight loss effect of bariatric surgery in patients with PWS.

Methods: This was a prospective observational study on patients with PWS undergoing bariatric surgery and patients were enrolled from July 2015 to December 2016.
