Elucidating the cellular organization of the cerebral cortex is critical for understanding brain structure and function. Using large-scale single-nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomic analysis of 143 macaque cortical regions, we obtained a comprehensive atlas of 264 transcriptome-defined cortical cell types and mapped their spatial distribution across the entire cortex. We characterized the cortical layer and region preferences of glutamatergic, GABAergic, and non-neuronal cell types, as well as regional differences in cell-type composition and neighborhood complexity.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFlhF protein is critical for intact flagellar assembly in Campylobacter jejuni. It is a putative GTPase with B-, N- and G-domains. However, the role of the B- and N-domains in flagella biosynthesis remains unclear in C.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFlhF is a key protein required for complete flagellar synthesis, and its deletion results in the complete absence of a flagella and thus motility in . However, the specific mechanism still remains unknown. In this study, RNA-Seq, EMSAs, ChIP-qPCR and β-Galactosidase assays were performed to elucidate the novel interactions between FlhF and genes involved in flagellar synthesis.
