Background: Dental caries remains a prevalent oral health problem globally, influenced by environmental, genetic, and microbial factors. Traditional studies have emphasised microbial colonisation and dietary sugars, neglecting the intricate molecular and genetic interactions. This study aimed to integrate single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) with Mendelian randomisation (MR) to elucidate the molecular and genetic factors contributing to the susceptibility and progression of dental caries.

Identification and in vitro validation of prognostic lncRNA signature in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are promising cancer prognostic markers. However, the clinical significance of lncRNA signatures in evaluating overall survival (OS) outcomes of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) has not been explored. This study aimed to assess the significance of lncRNA in HNSCC and to develop a lncRNA signature related to OS in HNSCC.
