Phytophthora nicotianae is a highly destructive soil-borne plant pathogen that leads to significant economic losses in agriculture. Chitooligosaccharides (COS) are popular biostimulant which can promote plant growth and responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. However, the role of COS in resisting the black-shank disease (BSD, caused by P.

Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) employing high-voltage cathode present a promising pathway toward high-energy-density energy storage systems. However, critical challenges have hindered their practical application, including lithium dendrite proliferation, unstable solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI), and limited oxidative stability of conventional 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME)-based electrolytes. Herein, we rationally design a siloxane-based electrolyte system featuring enhanced oxidative stability through solvent molecular engineering.

The continuous interfacial degradation within sulfide solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) and Li metal however hinders Li transport and induces inhomogeneous Li deposition. Herein, we propose a melt-infusion method to introduce lithium trifluorosulfonylimide (LiTFSI) on LiPSCl (LPSCl) particles as an artificial coating.

However, the specific role and mechanisms by which MARCH proteins influence Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) infection remain poorly understood. Here, we systematically investigate the functional relevance of MARCH proteins in JEV replication by examining the effects of siRNA-mediated knockdown of MARCHs on viral infection.

Yet, the structure-immunostimulatory activity relationship of polysaccharides remains unrevealed. Here, we developed nanovaccines decorated with four polysaccharides of distinct structures─hyaluronic acid (HA), pectin (PC), chondroitin sulfate (SC), and heparan sulfate (SH)─all sharing similar particle sizes and zeta potential.

Developing a 3D structured matrix current collector and novel electrolyte are feasible strategies to tackle these issues. Ether-based electrolytes are widely used in LMBs.

Objective: To explore effectiveness of TiRobot-assisted screw implantation in the treatment of coracoid process fractures of the scapula.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data from 24 patients with coracoid process fractures of the scapula admitted between September 2019 and January 2024 and met selection criteria. Among them, 12 patients underwent TiRobot-assisted screw implantation (robot group) and 12 underwent manual screw implantation (control group) during internal fixation.
Objective: To explore the application value of MRI-based imaging histology and deep learning model in the identification and classification of breast phyllodes tumors.
Methods: Seventy-seven patients diagnosed as breast phyllodes tumors and fibroadenomas by pathological examination were retrospectively analyzed, and traditional radiomics features, subregion radiomics features, and deep learning features were extracted from MRI images, respectively. The features were screened and modeled using variance selection method, statistical test, random forest importance ranking method, Spearman correlation analysis, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO).
HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health challenge in China, particularly among men who have sex with men (MSM). Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and non-occupational post-exposure Prophylaxis (nPEP) are effective interventions to reduce HIV transmission in high-risk populations. This study assessed awareness and utilization levels of PrEP and nPEP among young MSM (YMSM) aged 18-29 in China and examined associated factors.

The present study examined the impact of ABA and nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) on various postharvest 'Docteur Jules Guyot' pear fruit characteristics, including firmness, pectinase activity, pectin content, volatile aromatic substances, and the expression of correlated genes. The results showed that ABA quickly reduced fruit firmness, increasing the activity of pectin degradation-related enzymes.

Methods: PubMed, EMbase, three Chinese databases, the National Public Service Platform for Standards Information and the official websites of pharmaceutical-related associations were searched to identify guidance documents relevant to the management of OLDU for Chinese health care institutions.
O3-type layered oxides are considered promising cathode materials for next-generation high-energy-density sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). However, they face challenges, such as low rate capacity and poor cycling stability, which arise from structural deformation, sluggish Na diffusion kinetics, and interfacial side reactions. Herein, a synergistic substitution strategy for transitional and interstitial sites was adopted to improve the structure stability and Na diffusion kinetics of the O3-type NaNiFeMnO.

Nevertheless, the specific molecular process underlying the production of volatile esters in European pear remains elusive. In this research, head space solid phase microextraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry were employed to examine the volatile compounds of two varieties of European pear.

We previously found that polysaccharide of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz (PAMK) is beneficial in DSS-induced colitis, and we aimed to investigate the underlying mechanisms in this study.
Experimental Approach: PAMK was used to treat DSS-induced colitis in mice, 16S rRNA sequencing analysis was used to detect changes in the intestinal microbiota, targeted metabolomics analysis was used to determine the content of tryptophan-metabolizing bacteria, and western blotting was used to determine aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) and pregnane X receptor (PXR) levels.

This study aimed to utilize machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms to quantify the impact of temperature discomfort on productivity loss among petrochemical workers and to identify key influencing factors.
Methods: A cross-sectional face-to-face questionnaire survey was conducted among petrochemical workers between May and September 2023 in Fujian Province, China.
Cobalt sulfide (CoS) is a promising anode material for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) due to its high theoretical capacity, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness. Unfortunately, the inevitable structural deterioration induced by the huge volume changes during the discharge/charge cycles leads to poor cycle performance and rate capability when evaluated as the anode material for SIB. Herein, we designed a CoS@C-MoS heterostructure with abundant heterointerface and hollow structure.
