Identifying the decoupling pathways of water resource liability and economic growth: a case study of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, China.

Identifying the high-quality economic growth pathways under the requirements of water conservation and water pollution reduction is pivotal to realize regional sustainable development. Combined with the theory of resource and environmental value, sustainable development, and environmental accounting, this paper innovatively introduces water resource liability (WRL) to measure water environmental pressure. This study takes the Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) as the research area and firstly conducts a spatial-temporal analysis of the WRL change in this region from 2013 to 2018.

Association between glycated hemoglobin and ambulatory blood pressure or heart rate in hypertensive patients.

Objectives: To determine the association between glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and ambulatory blood pressure or heart rate in hypertensive patients.

Methods: A total of 585 patients, who performed ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) from September 2018 to April 2019 in Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, were enrolled and assigned into 2 groups (470 in a hypertensive group and 115 in a normal group). HbA1c levels were compared.

Abnormal cell proliferation and invasion of vascular smooth muscle cells are among the primary causes of cardiovascular disease. Studies have shown that microRNA(miR)-342-5p participates in the development of cardiovascular diseases. The current study aimed to explore the role of miR-342-5p in the proliferation and differentiation of mouse aortic vascular smooth muscle (MOVAS) cells.

Contradictions between DAPT and PRECISE-DAPT scores with the severity of coronary lesion in acute coronary syndrome.

This study aimed to identify the correlation of contradiction between DAPT score and PRECISE-DAPT score with the severity of coronary lesion in acute coronary syndromes (ACS).In total, 458 patients with ACS after a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) who had tolerated 1-year uneventful dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) were enrolled and divided into groups based on the Gensini score, number of stenosed vessels, and left main (LM) disease. Both DAPT score and PRECISE-DAPT score were calculated and the proportion of patients receiving conflicting recommendations from each score was compared among the groups.
