Gut microbiota affect the formation of calcium oxalate renal calculi caused by high daily tea consumption.

Kidney stones are a common and frequently occurring disease worldwide. Stones can cause urinary tract obstruction, pain, haematuria, and other symptoms. In this study, the relationship between calcium oxalate renal calculi and gut microbiota was considered.

Ureteral reconstruction with decellularized small intestinal submucosa matrix for ureteral stricture: A preliminary report of two cases.

Objective: To determine the feasibility of decellularized small intestinal submucosa (SIS) matrix in repairing ureteral strictures.

Methods: Two patients with ureteral stenoses underwent ureteral reconstruction with SIS matrix at the Zhejiang Provincial Corps Hospital of Chinese People's Armed Forces between June 2014 and June 2016. The ureteral stenoses were repaired with a semi-tubular SIS matrix and the postoperative recoveries were observed.

Oral complications after lingual mucosal graft harvesting for urethroplasty in 110 cases.

OBJECTIVE • This study was to evaluate donor-site complications of lingual mucosal graft harvesting for substitution urethroplasty. PATIENTS AND METHODS • 110 patients with anterior urethral strictures or hypospadias underwent lingual mucosal grafts (LMGs) urethroplasty. Dual LMGs were harvested from both sites separately or a long mucosal graft was harvested from one side to other side of tongue in 29 patients (group one); a shorter mucosal graft was harvested from one side of tongue in 81 patients (group two).
