Introduction: This study aimed to explore the characteristics of post-stroke sleep dysfunction and verify their association with gut dysbiosis and the related amino acid metabolism disorders. This was achieved by using fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in a non-human primate stroke model.
Methods: Twenty adult male cynomolgus monkeys were divided into the sham (n = 4), middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO, n = 5), MCAO + FMT (n = 3), and donor (n = 8) groups.
Introduction: IVT use declined globally in 2020 due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, but it increased in South China. This study was conducted to evaluate the association of establishing Stroke Prevention Centers (SPCs) at primary hospitals with IVT increase in South China.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a longitudinal observational study across 336 hospitals in 114 areas in South China during 2020-2022.

Nicastrin (NCSTN) is a type I trans-membrane glycoprotein and an essential component of gamma-secretase, a multiprotein complex required for the production of the mature form of A beta. Overexpression of wild-type NCSTN increases A beta production, indicating that the strict regulation of NCSTN expression may play a fundamental role in the pathogenesis of AD.
