Purpose: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and OSA-associated chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) have been suggested to be associated with increased risk of liver disease. Little is known about the biological pathophysiology and underlying molecular mechanisms. Here we use whole-genome expression profiling to explore the transcriptomic changes induced by CIH in rat liver.

Validation of fatty liver index and hepatic steatosis index for screening of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in adults with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.

Background: Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a contributing factor for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Non-invasive algorithms including fatty liver index (FLI) and hepatic steatosis index (HSI) have been used as a screening test for NAFLD in epidemiologic studies. The aim of this study is to compare the diagnostic accuracy of FLI and HSI for NAFLD detection in adults with OSAHS.

Significance and Application of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis for the BI-RADS Classification of Breast Cancer.

Background: Full-field digital mammography (FFDM) with dense breasts has a high rate of missed diagnosis, and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) could reduce organization overlapping and provide more reliable images for BI-RADS classification. This study aims to explore application of COMBO (FFDM+DBT) for effect and significance of BI-RADS classification of breast cancer.

Materials And Methods: In this study, we selected 832 patients who had been treated from May 2013 to November 2013.
