To mitigate the safety risks and economic losses caused by wheel damage, this paper proposes an interval valued fuzzy inference-based sound analysis method for wheel damage detection. Firstly, interval valued fuzzy sets are defined to represent various levels of damage severity. A similarity calculation method is then designed, based on the defined interval valued fuzzy sets, to assess the damage level of wheel components.

The segmentation and extraction on color features can provide useful information for many different application domains. However, most of the existing image processing algorithms on feature extraction are gray image-based and consider only one-dimensional parameters. In order to carry out a fast and accurate color feature extraction, this paper proposes a color extraction algorithm by segmentation that is called a color extraction algorithm This algorithm is compared under different color distribution situations, and the extraction effect on color is also shown by the combination of the segmentation and feature extraction algorithms.

For solving the problem of quality detection in the production and processing of stuffed food, this paper suggests a small neighborhood clustering algorithm to segment the frozen dumpling image on the conveyor belt, which can effectively improve the qualified rate of food quality. This method builds feature vectors by obtaining the image's attribute parameters. The image is segmented by a distance function between categories using a small neighborhood clustering algorithm based on sample feature vectors to calculate the cluster centers.

In order to solve the problem of traffic congestion in a certain area, this paper develops a set of traffic optimization decision system. For analyzing the actual traffic conditions and calculating the traffic volume, density and traffic speed, a traffic prediction model is established and updated iteratively to modify the prediction model parameters. Based on this model, the congestion degree is estimated at the current road section, thus, an intelligent decision-making and the coordinated optimization methods are proposed.

Aiming at the difficulty of feature extraction in the case of multicomponent and strong noise in the traditional rolling bearing fault diagnosis method, this paper proposes a bearing fault diagnosis network with double attention mechanism. The original signal with noise is decomposed into a series of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) by the Empirical Mode Decomposition method. The Pearson correlation coefficient is discussed to filter the IMFs components for signal reconstruction.

The hardness recognition is of great significance to tactile sensing and robotic control. The hardness recognition methods based on deep learning have demonstrated a good performance, however, a huge amount of manually labeled samples which require lots of time and labor costs are necessary for the training of deep neural networks. In order to alleviate this problem, a semi-supervised generative adversarial network (GAN) which requires less manually labeled samples is proposed in this paper.

In this paper, a synthesized design of fault-detection filter and fault estimator is considered for a class of discrete-time stochastic systems in the framework of event-triggered transmission scheme subject to unknown disturbances and deception attacks. A random variable obeying the Bernoulli distribution is employed to characterize the phenomena of the randomly occurring deception attacks. To achieve a fault-detection residual is only sensitive to faults while robust to disturbances, a coordinate transformation approach is exploited.

Topology theory on rough sets.

IEEE Trans Syst Man Cybern B Cybern

February 2008

For further studying the theories and applications of rough sets (RS), this paper proposes a new theory on RS, which mainly includes topological space, topological properties, homeomorphism, and its properties on RS by some new definitions and theorems given. The relationship between partition and countable open covering is discussed, and some applications based on the topological rough space and its topological properties are introduced. Moreover, some perspectives for future research are given.
