A positive-sense single-stranded RNA mycovirus was isolated from Morchella sextelata strain ZY-1 and designated as "Morchella sextelata endornavirus 1" (MsEV1). The complete genome of MsEV1 was found to be 16,589 nucleotides (nt) in length and to contain a single large open reading frame (ORF) encoding the viral proteins PRK00409, transmethylase, DEXDc, helicase, and RdRP in a polyprotein of 5,477 amino acids. Phylogenetic analysis based on RdRP nucleotide sequences revealed that this endornavirus is a member of the genus Betaendornavirus in the family Endornaviridae.

In this paper, the dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) method is used to simulate the self-assembly process, appearance, mesoscopic structure, and wrapping properties of microcapsules formed with citral as the core material and chitosan and sodium alginate as the single-wall materials, and with citral as the core material and chitosan-sodium alginate, chitosan-methylcellulose, sodium alginate-chitosan, and sodium alginate-methylcellulose as the double-wall materials. The effects of chitosan content and wall material composition on the structure, morphology, encapsulation performance, and stability of microcapsules are compared and analyzed. In addition, the microcapsules are deeply analyzed by using the mesoscopic structure, radial distribution function, and diffusion coefficient.

Here, we report an efficient passivation of the structural oxygen vacancies in AuAg nanoclusters by leveraging the HO molecules, achieving a sensitive color tuning from 536 to 480 nm and remarkably boosting photoluminescence quantum yield from 5.3% (trap-state emission) to 91.

Based on the critical behavior of group velocity of the microwave signal propagating along a controllable composite right/left-handed transmission line, in this paper, we theoretically demonstrate that an electromagnetic black hole (EBH) can be constructed in the relevant co-moving coordinate system, i.e.

Collectively, several transcription factors and RNAs cooperate to facilitate the elevated expression of EZH2 in cancer. Although the significance of blocking EZH2 in cancer for inhibiting cancer progression is widely recognized, the clinical application of EZH2 inhibitors continues to encounter numerous challenges.

Using thiolate-protected Au(SR) nanocluster (NC) with different charge states as the test candidate, how the charge effect affects the etching dynamics of thiolate ligands in acid and the electrocatalytic performance is explored. The ab initio molecular dynamics (AIMD) simulations revealed the charge-dependent reaction kinetics in acid, where the anionic and neutral Au(SCH) (q = -1, 0) favorably react with the acid and partially remove the thiolate ligands via two-step proton attack, while the cationic Au(SCH) NC is acid-resistant with no tendency for -SR removal. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations further predict that the dethiolated Au sites exhibit enhanced catalytic activity for CO electroreduction to CO, with the anionic Au showing significantly superior activity.

Persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection serves as the principal etiological factor in cervical cancer, with the oncoprotein E7, which is encoded by the virus, playing a key role in tumorigenesis. However, targeted therapeutic strategies against E7 remain underexplored. KAT8, a lysine acetyltransferase, significantly contributes to oncogenesis through the regulation of transcription.

Traditional methods, like installing baffles, for suppressing surface waves often suffer from issues including increased system weight, lack of flexibility and universality, and problems with structural performance. This study utilizes micro/nanoscale surface modifications and millimeter scale slot structure design to trap air film to absorb vibration energy under liquid surface waves.

MGMT repairs the TMZ-induced lethal O-methylguanine (O-MeG) lesions, leading to treatment resistance. Current small molecule covalent MGMT inhibitors have limited clinical application due to severe hematological toxicity when used with TMZ.

This study aimed to describe the gastrointestinal symptoms and endoscopic features of hepatic GSD, including types Ia, Ib, III, VI, and IX, to provide evidence for etiology and treatment.
Methods: A national cohort survey questionnaire was distributed to patients diagnosed with GSD type Ia, Ib, III, VI, and IX through genetic testing or their parents in mainland China in May 2022.
Atomically precise gold nanoclusters have shown great promise as model electrocatalysts in pivotal electrocatalytic processes such as the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CORR). Although the influence of ligands on the electronic properties of these nanoclusters is well acknowledged, the ligand effects on their electrocatalytic performances have been rarely explored. Herein, using [Au(SR)] nanoclusters as a prototype model, we demonstrated the importance of ligand hydrophilicity hydrophobicity in modulating the interface dynamics and electrocatalytic performance.

The global diversity of Proterozoic eukaryote fossils is poorly quantified despite its fundamental importance to the understanding of macroevolutionary patterns and dynamics on the early Earth. Here we report a new construction of fossil eukaryote diversity from the Paleoproterozoic to early Cambrian based on a comprehensive data compilation and quantitative analyses. The resulting taxonomic richness curve verifies Cryogenian glaciations as a major divide that separates the "Boring Billion" and Ediacaran periods, with the former characterized by a prolonged stasis, and the latter by greater diversity, more-rapid turnover, and multiple radiations and extinctions.
