Background: The genus Impatiens, which includes both annual and perennial herbs, holds considerable ornamental, economic, and medicinal value. However, it posed significant challenges for taxonomic and systematic reconstruction. This was largely attributed to its high intraspecific diversity and low interspecific variation in morphological characteristics.

Here, we established a library of 46,678 de novo-designed mini-proteins and performed cell permeability screening via phage display. Analyses revealed a characteristic neighboring distribution of positive charges across helices among enriched mini-proteins of CPP7, CPP11, CPP55, CPP109 and CPP112.

By self-customized visualization software, users can interactively prepare protein files, set docking sites as well as view binding conformers in a target protein in a few clicks. We provide serval purchasable ligand libraries for selection.

Many web-based three-dimensional (3D) structure tools have been developed for displaying existing models, building new models, and preparing initial input files for external calculations. But few of these tools can deal with crystal structures.

This study constructs a four-layer research model to examine how a 360° virtual tour can reduce people's psychological stress through two types of presence (the sense of presence and telepresence) and affective-motivational states (enjoyment and involvement) in this extraordinary period of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to test the moderating effect of involvement, partial least squares (PLS) analysis is employed to analyse valid data collected from 235 individuals.

The aim of this study was to test the effect of seed population, collection year, after-ripening and incubation conditions on seed dormancy and germination of Stipa bungeana, a perennial grass used for revegetation of degraded grasslands on the Loess Plateau, China. Fresh S.

Polysaccharides (pachyman) extracted from Poria cocos sclerotium were chemically modified by carboxymethylation and the effects on the structural and biological properties of the polysaccharides were investigated as a function of the degree of carboxymethylation. The degree of substitution (DS) of five carboxymethylated pachyman, coded as CMP1/CMP2/CMP3/CMP4/CMP5, was determined to be 0.44-0.

The aim of this study was to observe the difference in respect to the leukocyte reduction efficiency and quality of fresh-frozen plasma (FFP) from filtered whole blood between two types of in-line filters wherein only filter materials were surface modified by the two methods respectively. Whole blood was kept in refrigerator and filtered within 6 h of collection at ambient temperature. Samples were taken pre- and post filtration for analysis of WBC numbers, coagulation factors and complement activation (n = 8 for each type of filter).
