The analysis of urban spatial form is the basic research of urban development. Traditional fractal research often focuses on the urban spatial layout, which cannot visually express the specific form, change characteristics and development trend of urban architectural spaces. The urban architectural form is simplified and the basic architectural form templates are extracted, and then, the correlations between architecture form and fractal dimension are built.

Article Synopsis
  • Urbanization is causing significant changes in landscape patterns, leading to the degradation of global ecosystem services, prompting a need for coordinated development of cities and ecosystems.
  • A bibliometric analysis of ecosystem services research from 2000 to 2022 highlights similarities in research focus on landscape patterns and land use between China and globally, with investigations ranging from macro to micro levels.
  • The study notes variations in the types and distribution of ecosystem services researched across regions, emphasizing that trade-offs are primarily examined at medium to large scales and suggests future research should focus on ecosystem service bundles and integrating ecosystem services into spatial planning.

The thermal environment of village public space affects the comfort of people ' s outdoor activities, and then affects the willingness of residents to outdoor activities, which has an important impact on the villagers' quality of life. Previously published studies of thermal comfort mostly focused on the evaluation of thermal comfort index, few studies on the application of thermal comfort planning. The study was carried out in Maling Village, Changdai Town, Mengjin County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, China.

For the purpose of investigating the effect of landfill leachate on the characteristics of organic matter in groundwater, groundwater samples were collected near and in a landfill site, and dissolved organic matter (DOM) was extracted from the groundwater samples and characterized by excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectra combined with fluorescence regional integration (FRI) and self-organizing map (SOM). The results showed that the groundwater DOM comprised humic-, fulvic-, and protein-like substances. The concentration of humic-like matter showed no obvious variation for all groundwater except the sample collected in the landfill site.
