The primary and secondary tuberculosis features two completely different pathogenesis.At present,the pathogenesis of primary tuberculosis has been clear,whereas that of secondary tuberculosis remains unclear.In order to decipher the mechanism of secondary infection of and provide insights into vaccine research and drug development,this paper reviews the problems of the widely accepted mechanism of secondary infection,the new findings of the research on the mechanism,as well as the role of cord factors.
