Overexpression of SoSnRK2.1 improved drought tolerance and growth of tobacco plants. Sucrose non-fermenting1-related protein kinase 2 (SnRK2) is a key enzyme in regulating ABA signal transduction in plants, and it plays a significant role in response to multiple abiotic stresses.
