The theoretical relationship between social media use and job satisfaction, especially concerning gender-specific mechanisms, remains a subject of ongoing debate in the literature. This divergence reflects our insufficient understanding of the complex relationships among gender, social media use, and job satisfaction. Drawing on Social Role Theory (SRT) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this study utilizes 4651 valid samples from the 2020 China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) database to investigate how gender influences interpersonal relationships through social media sharing frequency, thereby enhancing job satisfaction.

Objective: To explore the effects of donor sperm on reproductive quality of life, sleep quality and erectile function in patients with severe oligoasthenospermia after the failure of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and to provide targeted reference for intervention.
Methods: From January 2021 to December 2023, patients with severe oligoasthenospermia who received assisted pregnancy treatment in Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University were selected as the study objects. Among them, 82 cases using sperm donor assisted pregnancy after ICSI failure were set as the observation group, and 82 cases using propensity score 1:1 matching ICSI failure after ICSI assisted pregnancy were set as the control group.
Background: Lynch syndrome (LS)-associated colorectal cancer (CRC) always ascribes to pathogenic germline mutations in mismatch repair (MMR) genes. However, the penetrance of CRC varies among those with the same MMR gene mutation. Thus, we hypothesized that the gut microbiota is also involved in CRC development in LS families.

Our trial aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of minocycline in reducing infarct volume and improving functional outcomes in patients undergoing mechanical thrombectomy for anterior circulation AIS-LVO.
Methods And Analysis: The MIST-A trial is a prospective, randomised, open-label, blinded-endpoint trial to be conducted across 12 medical centres.
Background And Objective: Gastric cancer (GC) remains a significant global health challenge, characterized by high incidence and mortality rates, particularly in East Asia. A comprehensive understanding of the disease burden of gastric cancer is crucial for developing effective prevention and treatment strategies. However, comprehensive global assessments of the disease burden of gastric cancer remain limited.

Most of the previous studies placed a focus on the porous media with layerings perpendicular to the flow direction, and the effects of pore topology were often ignored. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the flow physics in porous media with layering parallel to the flow direction by accounting for the specific pore topology.

We have recently shown that the novel derivative is highly cytotoxic in several lymphoma and leukemia cell lines as well as in primary patient-derived lymphoma and leukemia cells and predominantly targets cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). Here, we efficiently synthesized nine novel 2-aminopyridyl congeners (-), i.

It is not clear whether the role of cytokinin changes at the different stages of pathogen infection. Arabidopsis thaliana sequentially exhibits distinct root morphological symptoms during Ralstonia solanacearum infection, which offers a good system to investigate function of cytokinin in the whole pathogen infection process.

This study aims to explore the impact of comprehensive medical care on the daily life of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and to evaluate its effectiveness in improving quality of life, alleviating symptoms, and reducing the risk of cardiac events. A new comprehensive medical care scheme combining Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing differentiation, collaborative nursing interventions, and specialized community care was proposed. Patients with CHD were recruited as study subjects.

For this reason, a colorimetric aptasensor based on an entropy-catalyzed amplification system was developed for the ultrasensitive and selective determination of acetamiprid. In the absence of acetamiprid, the aptamer and cDNA form a double-stranded structure.

Ginsenoside Rb3 (Rb3) is a bioactive substance known for its pharmacological properties in treating neurological disorders. This study investigated the effects of Rb3 on neural regeneration following ischaemic stroke (IS) and the underlying mechanisms involved.

As an essential amino acid, tryptophan (TRP) participates in a variety of physiological functions in the body and affects the growth and health of the human body. TRP catabolites produced by the gut microbiota are important signaling molecules for microbial communities and host-microbe interactions, and play an important role in maintaining health and disease pathogenesis.

This study was conducted to assess the effects of supplementing broilers with a Symbiotic-Enzyme complex (SEC) containing prebiotics (), probiotics ( and ), and enzymes (, and α) as an alternative to antibiotics on growth performance, carcass and meat quality traits, mortality, linear body measurements, intestinal morphology and immune organ indexes.
Method: A total of 864 mixed-sex 1-day-old arbor acres (AA+) broilers were allocated to 8 experimental groups replicated 9 times with 12 chickens per replicate.

Objective: This review aimed to consolidate existing knowledge on this phenomenon by incorporating direct testimonies from individuals who have experienced breast cancer.
Methods: A thorough metasynthesis of qualitative studies was conducted. English articles published prior to September 18 2023 were searched from eight databases, including PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, the Chinese biomedical literature service system, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Wanfang Database, and the Wipu Database.
Rationale And Objectives: This study aimed to address the challenge of predicting treatment outcomes for patients with uterine fibroids undergoing high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation. We developed medical-assisted diagnostic models to accurately predict the ablation rates and volume reduction rates, thus assessing both short-term and long-term treatment effects of fibroids.
Materials And Methods: For the ablation rate prediction, our study included 348 fibroids, categorized into 181 fully ablated and 167 inadequately ablated fibroids.
γ-Hydroxybutyrate (GHB) is an important C4 platform chemical, serving as a crucial precursor for the synthesis of various bulk chemicals, including γ-butyrolactone (GBL) and 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BDO). In this study, we report the systematic metabolic engineering of for the biological production of GHB from glucose via the introduction of a glutamate-derived pathway. We showed that is a promising host for producing GHB due to its higher tolerance to GHB as compared to other chassis.
