The prognosis for muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) remains poor, and reliable prognostic markers have yet to be identified. Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) have been associated with favorable outcomes in certain cancers. However, the relationship between TLS and MIBC remains unclear.

Bladder cancer (BCa) exhibits significant sex disparities, and intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) is a widely used treatment for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). A comprehensive evaluation of intravesical BCG, including the safety profile and adverse events (AEs), is essential. In particular, exploring the sex differences is crucial.

However, its application in bladder cancer (BC) remains limited, partially because of the absence of appropriate target molecules. Sialylated cancer-derived IgG (SIA-CIgG) is highly expressed in BC and is closely associated with malignant biological behavior.

Antibiotic (ATB) use can influence intra-tumoral bacteria, which may further reduce ICB efficacy. The study aims to evaluate the effects of ATB use on prognosis and response in UC patients undergoing ICB, and explore potential molecular mechanisms of ATBs and intra-tumoral bacteria impacting UC immune microenvironment.

The male reproductive system consists of gonads (testis), vas deferens, and accessory glands such as the prostate. According to classical immunology theory, the tissues and organs mentioned above are not thought to produce immunoglobulins (Igs), and any Ig present in the relevant tissues under physiological and pathological conditions is believed to be derived from B cells.

This study focuses on summarizing the signals of all intravesical drugs and aims to highlight the comprehensive differences in adverse events (AEs) between these drugs.
Research Design And Methods: We conducted pharmacovigilance data analysis based on the real-world big data from the Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are essential for urothelial carcinoma (UC) treatment. Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) alterations, as common oncogenic drivers in UC, have been reported to drive T cell depletion of UC immune microenvironment via up-regulating FGFR signaling, which indicated FGFR alterations potentially result in reduced response to ICIs. In addition, the selective pan-FGFR inhibitor showed better clinical benefit in clinical trials, indicating FGFR has emerged as critical therapeutic target via inhibiting FGFR signaling.

Materials And Methods: We perform an updated systematic review and meta-analysis utilizing the most recent evidence to investigate the potential influence of AST on the incidence and prognosis of BCa. A comprehensive literature search was performed on the PubMed, Medline, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library databases to include potentially eligible studies.

Objective: To date, there have been few studies examining the prognostic implications of histological subtypes in ureteral cancer. And chemotherapy plays a crucial role in the treatment of ureteral cancer, while many factors influence the efficacy of chemotherapy. This study aimed to utilize the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results database to assess the impact of histological type on ureteral cancer prognostic outcomes and discovered how histological type and T-stage influence the efficacy of chemotherapy.

This study aimed to compare the efficacy of three and four cycles of NAC in the treatment of MIBC through a systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature.
Materials And Methods: Relevant studies were systematically collected and reviewed in PubMed, Medline, Embase, Web of Science Databases, and the Cochrane Library.
Background: Immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy holds promise in metastatic urothelial carcinoma (UC). Fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) mutation drives T-cell-depleted microenvironment in UC, which led to the hypothesis that FGFR3 mutation might attenuate response to ICB in patients with metastatic UC. The study aims to compare prognosis and response between patients with FGFR3-mutated and FGFR3-wildtype metastatic UC after ICB therapy, and decode the potential molecular mechanisms.

Therefore, we sought to assess the effect of regional and GA only upon the recurrence and long-term prognosis of NMIBC through this meta-analysis.
Methods: We performed an extensive literature search of PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (up to October 30, 2022) to identify eligible articles on the possible impact of different anesthetic modalities for the recurrence rate of NMIBC.
Background: Immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy has become a first-line treatment option for metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC) patients who do not meet the criteria of cisplatin. Still, only a few people can benefit from it, so useful predictive markers are needed.
Methods: Download the ICB-based mUC and chemotherapy-based bladder cancer cohorts, and extract the expression data of pyroptosis-related genes (PRG).

Rationale: To invest the role of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) on the tumor immune microenvironment of prostate cancer.
Methods: Here we have profiled the transcriptomes of 19,227 single cells from 4 prostate tumors, including two cases who received ADT. To validated the single-cell analysis we use another group of patients receiving neoadjuvant ADT.
Aim: To explore factors associated with decision regret after cystectomy among Chinese bladder cancer patients.
Methods: This cross-sectional study involved 112 patients, who had received radical bladder cancer resection. Participants were recruited from August 2021 until January 2022.
Bladder cancer (BC) is the most common malignant tumor of the genitourinary system. The age of individuals diagnosed with BC tends to decrease in recent years. A variety of standard therapeutic options are available for the clinical management of BC, but limitations exist.

Patients And Methods: A total of 573 patients with UTUC after radical nephroureterectomy were included at Peking University People's Hospital from January 2007 to April 2021. MetS was diagnosed according to the criteria of Chinese Diabetes Society and was defined as the presence of 3 or more of the following 4 conditions (obesity, hyperglycemia, hypertension, high triglycerides and/or low high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol).
Background: Intratumoral fibrosis was positively correlated with histological grade of renal clear cell carcinoma (ccRCC) and intratumoral inflammation. However, the association of intratumoral fibrosis with the immune infiltration of ccRCC was few evaluated.
Methods: We used the second harmonic generation (SHG)-based imaging technology and evaluated the intratumoral fibrosis in ccRCC, and then divided the patients into the high fibrosis group (HF) and the low fibrosis group (LF).
