Background: Phthalates, widely used as plasticizers, are pervasive environmental contaminants and endocrine disruptors. Their potential role in overactive bladder (OAB) pathogenesis is underexplored, necessitating further investigation into their impact on OAB using large-scale epidemiological data.
Methods: This study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) spanning from 2011 to 2018.
Background: Individual antioxidants may not fully capture the comprehensive antioxidant intake from an individual's diet. This study utilizes the Complex Dietary Antioxidant Index (CDAI) to evaluate the combined effects of various dietary antioxidants in the diet. The goal is to investigate the relationship between CDAI and the incidence of erectile dysfunction (ED), offering insights for dietary guidelines and intervention strategies aimed at mitigating the burden of ED.

Methods: Three patients with hemorrhagic RAM were reviewed. All patients underwent vitrectomy combined with ILM peeling.
Shape memory polyurethane (SMPU) with excellent mechanical properties holds significant application value in engineering. However, achieving high strength and toughness typically relies on hydrogen bonding for energy dissipation, which limits the application of such PUs due to their deformation temperature being below room temperature. Here, we introduce a rigid long-chain polyamide acid with a rich aromatic structure as a chain extender, combined with metal coordination, to develop a shape memory polyurethane with a phase transition temperature of 50 °C and outstanding mechanical performance.

Introduction: Antidepressants may lead to a series of sexual adverse effects (SAEs), among which ejaculation dysfunction (EjD) is often overlooked by clinicians. The purpose of the present network meta-analysis was to assist drug adjustment by comparing and ranking the incidence of EjD among various antidepressants.
Methods: Relevant studies were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science, ClinicalTrials.
Autophagy is a highly conserved process in eukaryotes that is used to recycle the cellular components from the cytoplasm. It plays a crucial function in responding to both biotic and abiotic stress, as well as in the growth and development of plants. Autophagy-related genes (ATG) and their functions have been identified in numerous crop species.

However, the development of high-performance dynamic shape memory polymers (DSMPs) for DLP printing remains a significant challenge due to the inherent incompatibilities between the photopolymerization process and the curing/polymerization of high-strength polymers. Here, a mechanically robust DSMP compatible is developed with DLP printing, which incorporates dynamic covalent bonds of imine linking polyimide rigid segments, exhibiting remarkable mechanical performance (tensile strength ≈41.

We investigated the associations of a healthy diet with the body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure (BP) in early childhood. In the GECKO birth cohort, height, weight, and BP were measured at 5 and 10 years of age.

Inspired by the woven cross-linking strategy, a series of supramolecular polyurethane (PU) with an interwoven network structure composed of covalent and supramolecular cross-linking nodes have been successfully synthesized by introducing the ureido-pyrimidinone (UPy) motifs into the PU skeleton. The best-performing sample exhibited ultrahigh strength (∼77.

Here for the first time a rigid-flexible interlocking polymer (RFIP) is reported featuring remarkable mechanical properties, consisting of flexible polyurethane (PU) and rigid polyimide (PI) chains cleverly woven together around the copper(I) ions center. By rationally weaving PI, PU chains, and copper(I) ions, RFIP exhibits ultra-high strength (twice that of unwoven polymers, 91.

However, the effects of their co-exposures on IGF1 (Insulin-like growth factor 1) methylation and the potential role in child physical growth are unclear.
Methods: From our previous children study (N = 238, ages of 3-6), 75 children with higher total concentrations of urinary ten hydroxyl PAH metabolites (∑OH-PAHs) from an e-waste recycling area, Guiyu, and 75 with lower ∑OH-PAHs from Haojiang (reference area) were included.
Backgrounds: As a conserved signaling pathway, mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade regulates cellular signaling in response to abiotic stress. High temperature may contribute to a significant decrease in economic yield. However, research into the expression patterns of family genes under high temperature is limited and lacks experimental validation regarding their role in supporting potato plant growth.

Here a series of SMPUs with ultra-high strength, self-healing and recyclability, and excellent shape memory properties through introducing dynamic boron-urethane bonds are synthesized. The introducing of boric acid (BA) to polyurethane leading to the formation of dynamic covalent bonds (DCB) boron-urethane, that confer a robust cross-linking structure on the SMPUs led to the formation of ordered stable hydrogen-bonding network within the SMPUs.

At the same time, it establishes the linkage and mechanism between the maintenance of mechanical strength and the tribological application of polymers in service and provides corresponding scientific data and theoretical guidance for the long-lasting application of polymer lubrication materials. It is found that both composites exhibit good wear resistance across the pressure of 1 MPa to 10 MPa, with the α-AlO/PTFE composite demonstrating better performance stability compared to the SiO/PTFE composite.

Herein, a metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived CoNi bimetallic alloy (CoNi/C) with an irregular rod-like structure is prepared by a thermal reduction method. Introducing the CoNi alloy facilitates the balance between conduction loss and polarization loss and forms good impedance matching, leading to excellent microwave absorption performance.

The double-stranded RNA genome of MiTV1 is 4800 base pairs (bp) in length and contains two open reading frames (ORFs) encoding a putative coat protein (CP) and an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp). Phylogenetic analysis based on RdRp and CP amino acid sequences showed that MiTV1 is closely related to members of the genus Totivirus in the family Totiviridae.
