Background: The potential of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in inhibiting angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 was demonstrated. However, conflicting evidence emerged regarding the association between UDCA and COVID-19 outcomes, prompting the need for a comprehensive investigation.
Research Design And Methods: Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 infection were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two groups: the UDCA-treated group and the control group.
The [M -Hal] (M=the title compound; Hal=Cl, Br, and I) complexes were isolated in the form of salts of [Et N] cation and characterized by XRD, NMR, UV-Vis, DFT, QTAIM, EDD, and EDA. Their stoichiometry is caused by a cooperative interplay of σ-hole-driven chalcogen (ChB) and hydrogen (HB) bondings. In the crystal, [M -Hal] are connected by the π-hole-driven ChB; overall, each [Hal] is six-coordinated.

Methods: HMCs were divided into 5 groups: control group, 25% fetal bovine serum (FBS)-treated group, and NCTD groups (NCTD [2.5, 5 and 10 µg/mL] + 25% FBS, respectively).
A group selective molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction (MISPE) for malachite green (MG) from fish water and fish feed samples was developed. Using MG as template molecule, methacrylic acid as functional monomer, ethylene glycoldimethacrylate as linking agent and bulk polymerization as synthetic method, the molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were synthesized and characterized with rebinding experiment. The Scatchard polt's analysis revealed that the template-polymer system showed the two-site binding behavior with dissociation constants of 0.
