Purpose: To analyze the correlation between microbiome of supragingival plaque and host blood lipid levels.
Methods: Samples of supragingival plaques from 68 volunteers aged 45-60 years were collected. The total DNA was extracted, and 16S rDNA V3-V4 regions were amplified via PCR.
