Objectives: To investigate the effect of Rain Classroom and Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion (PAD) class blended learning mode on a surgical nursing course.

Methods: In this retrospective study, a total of 212 nursing undergraduates of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities were selected as the research objects. There were 102 participants taking the traditional teaching model, assigned into the control group.

The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between different models of sexual morality education and the mental health level of female college students, to provide a scientific basis for college conduct an effective sexual morality education program that can improve the psychologic health level of female college students.The experimental and control groups were comprised of female college students who received different models of sexual morality education. Total and factor scores derived from the Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL90) were compared between these groups.

Food intolerance prevalence in active ulcerative colitis in southwest China.

Background And Objectives: Food intolerance is believed to be a source of frequent medical problems in ulcerative colitis (UC), which closely correlate with patients' dietary pattern. Living in an underdeveloped area of China, residents in southwestern region have diverse dietary habits. The objective of this study is to determine the prevalence of food intolerance in the UC patients in this area and to discuss some of the possible risk factors leading to the condition.

Working memory-driven attention improves spatial resolution: Support for perceptual enhancement.

Previous research has indicated that attention can be biased toward those stimuli matching the contents of working memory and thereby facilitates visual processing at the location of the memory-matching stimuli. However, whether this working memory-driven attentional modulation takes place on early perceptual processes remains unclear. Our present results showed that working memory-driven attention improved identification of a brief Landolt target presented alone in the visual field.

Working memory can enhance unconscious visual perception.

We demonstrate that unconscious processing of a stimulus property can be enhanced when there is a match between the contents of working memory and the stimulus presented in the visual field. Participants first held a cue (a colored circle) in working memory and then searched for a brief masked target shape presented simultaneously with a distractor shape. When participants reported having no awareness of the target shape at all, search performance was more accurate in the valid condition, where the target matched the cue in color, than in the neutral condition, where the target mismatched the cue.

Working memory modulates the perception of time.

Recent research has indicated that reentrant feedback from the contents of working memory can enhance neural representations and the perceptual strengths of matching stimuli in the visual field. However, whether the contents of working memory can also distort conscious experiences of perception remains unclear. Our present results show that the durations of perceptual stimuli matching the nontemporal representations in working memory tend to be perceived as longer than those of mismatching stimuli.
