Background And Objective: Bench surgery (BenS) with kidney autotransplantation serves as an alternative to nephron-sparing surgery (NSS) for patients harboring high-complexity renal tumors that are ineligible for in situ partial nephrectomy (PN). However, the experience of BenS with robot-assisted kidney autotransplantation (RAKAT) has been scarce in such cases. Here, we describe the operative techniques, and functional and oncological outcomes of BenS with RAKAT.

Methods: A 15-question survey was distributed to American Dental Association members. Participants were asked to rate their comfort with various scenarios.
Objective: Prognostic risk factors were analyzed for patients with acute anterior circulation large-vessel occlusion stroke who achieved Modified Treatment in Cerebral Ischemia (mTICI) 3 grade by endovascular treatment.
Methods: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients with mTICI=3 grade after endovascular treatment from June 2019 to September 2024 at the Eighth Clinical College of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were retrospectively analyzed. Data related to patients' baseline data, risk factors, test data, and surgical data were collected, and the primary endpoint was 90-day poor functional outcome, defined as patients' modified Rankin score (mRS) >2 at 90 days after surgery.
In a recent study, Hou et al. developed a high-resolution, haplotype-based pangenome for moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis), revealing significant genetic diversity and over 1000 climate-associated variants. Their findings highlight adaptive mechanisms for the ecological resilience of bamboo, providing crucial insights for climate-resilient breeding and conservation to ensure the long-term ecological and economic benefits of moso bamboo amid climate change.

Here, we introduce a novel method for preparing high-viscosity chitosan/acrylamide (CS/PAM) ink using an aluminum chloride (AlCl·6HO) solution as the solvent. The resulting hydrogel exhibits a compressive strength of 4.

The Lin28 and let-7 axes are associated with several types of cancers. It is imperative to understand the underlying mechanism to treat these cancers in a more efficient way.

Due to its susceptibility to a range of pollutants, such as heavy metals, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals, nitrification serves as a valuable indicator in the risk assessment of chemical contaminants in soil environments. Here, we analyzed the effects of cadmium (Cd) treatment on soil potential nitrification rate (PNR), and the abundance of ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) and ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB) communities.

Background And Objective: Integrating multimodal data, such as pathology images and genomics, is crucial for understanding cancer heterogeneity, personalized treatment complexity, and enhancing survival prediction. However, most current prognostic methods are limited to a single domain of histopathology or genomics, inevitably reducing their potential for accurate patient outcome prediction. Despite advancements in the concurrent analysis of pathology and genomic data, existing approaches inadequately address the intricate intermodal relationships.

Sequencing errors and allele sharing complicate the analysis, particularly in cases involving unbalanced mixtures, multiple contributors, and kinship relationships. Massively parallel sequencing (MPS) panels comprising highly polymorphic microhaplotypes (MHs) offer a promising approach for detecting unique alleles in mixtures with a mixture ratio greater than 10:1, involving more than two contributors or contributors with kinship.

However, the existence of arginine demethylases that remove the modification has not been fully established. Here, we report that Myc-induced nuclear antigen 53 (Mina53), a member of the jumonji C (JmjC) protein family, is an arginine demethylase.

However, limited research has been conducted to investigate the impact of CMV and RS with reduced CF on rice production. A field trial was conducted from 2018 to 2021 with six treatments: CK (no fertilizer), F100 (100% NPK fertilizer (CF)), MSF100 (100% CF+CMV and RS incorporation), MSF80 (80% CF+CMV+RS), MSF60 (60% CF+CMV+RS), and MSF40 (40% CF+CMV+RS).

At high pressure, it undergoes a series of phase transitions from diatomic O to O cluster and ultimately dissociates into a polymeric O spiral chain structure. Intriguingly, the commonly found cyclic hexameric molecules in other group VIA elements (e.

However, CAR-T therapy still faces numerous challenges against solid tumors, such as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), owing to heterogeneous antigen expression in tumor cells, limited persistence of CAR-T cells, etc. Therefore, to treat HCC more effectively, we connected the molecular receptor NKBB to a second-generation glypican-3 (GPC3) CAR to construct GC3328z-NKBB CAR-T cells, which have double specific targets of GPC3 and NKG2DLs (natural killer group 2, member D ligands), dual co-stimulation of CD28 and 41BB, and a single CD3ζ chain.

Considering the significant clinical value of this causality determination, Mendelian randomization (MR) was implemented to investigate the causality between inflammatory cytokines and CSVD radiological lesions.
Methods: Using the publicly available Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) datasets, a bidirectional two-sample MR analysis was employed to infer causality between 91 inflammatory cytokines and CSVD phenotypes [white matter hyperintensity (WHM), fractional anisotropy (FA), mean diffusivity (MD), cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), and lacunar stroke].
