Introduction: The present study evaluated the effects of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gastric carcinoma high-expressed transcript (GHET1) in cervical carcinoma development.
Methods: The expression levels of GHET1 and PTEN were measured using in situ hybridisation, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and quantitative reverse transcription PCR assay to investigate their correlations. In an in vitro study, the effects of GHET1 knockdown on the biological activities of SiHa and HeLa cells were evaluated by MTT, flow cytometry, transwell and wound-healing assays and relative protein expression was measured using western blotting.
Background & Aims: We investigated whether ABL proto-oncogene 1, non-receptor tyrosine kinase (ABL1) is involved in development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Methods: We analyzed clinical and gene expression data from The Cancer Genome Atlas. Albumin-Cre (Hep) mice and mice with hepatocyte-specific disruption of Abl1 (Hep mice) were given hydrodynamic injections of plasmids encoding the Sleeping Beauty transposase and transposons with the MET gene and a catenin β1 gene with an N-terminal truncation, which induces development of liver tumors.
The wide applications of Ni-rich LiNi Co Mn O cathodes are severely limited by capacity fading and voltage fading during the cycling process resulting from the pulverization of particles, interfacial side reactions, and phase transformation. The canonical surface modification approach can improve the stability to a certain extent; however, it fails to resolve the key bottlenecks. The preparation of Li(Ni Co Mn ) Ti O on the surface of LiNi Co Mn O particles with a coprecipitation method is reported.

Methods: Seven electronic databases were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of dietary counseling intervention in cancer patients with malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition.
The RNA-binding protein fused in sarcoma (FUS) forms physiological granules and pathological fibrils, which facilitate RNA functions and cause neurodegenerative diseases, respectively. Phosphorylation at Ser/Thr residues may regulate the functional assembly of FUS and prevent pathological aggregation in cells. However, the low-complexity nature of the FUS sequence makes it challenging to characterize how phosphorylation of specific sites within the core amyloid-forming segment affects aggregation.

However, it is generally difficult and expensive to improve the accuracy of the pressure sensor because it usually depends on the sensing principle and the internal physical structure of the pressure sensor, varying with its material and production process. Thus, a simple, low-cost, and generally applied post-processing method is proposed to improve the accuracy of pressure sensors.

Using H static solid-state NMR approaches, we compare the dynamics in the wild-type Aβ fibrils in the threefold symmetric polymorph with the fibrils from three post-translational modification sequences: isoaspartate-D7, the phosphorylation of S8, and an N-terminal truncation ΔE3. Additional comparisons are made with the mutants in the β-bend region (residues 21-23) corresponding to the familial Osaka E22Δ deletion and D23N Iowa mutation.
