The atomic gravimeter offers high precision, no drift, and excellent long-term stability, making it suitable for high-precision marine gravity measurements. However, the vibration environment generates various noise signals in the shipborne absolute gravity data, compromising measurement accuracy. Specifically, the vibration noise of the Raman mirror significantly impacts the gravimeter's accuracy, necessitating vibration compensation.

Myocardial infarction (MI) is the leading cause of mortality in cardiovascular diseases and continues to pose a substantial challenge in clinical management, despite the availability of guideline-directed medical therapy. The present study aimed to investigate the potential protective effects of the NADPH oxidase inhibitor (NI) GSK2795039 on cardiac remodeling following MI, and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms involved. We established the MI model by ligating the left anterior descending artery in mice.

During transfer tasks, the dual-arm nursing-care robot require a human-robot mechanics model to determine the balance region to support the patient safely and stably. Previous studies utilized human-robot two-dimensional static equilibrium models, ignoring the human body volume and muscle torques, which decreased model accuracy and confined the robot ability to adjust the patient's posture in three-dimensional spatial. Therefore, this study proposes a three-dimensional spatial mechanics modeling method based on individualized human musculoskeletal multibody dynamics.

A phytochemical study of Tripterygium wilfordii root bark was conducted 25 novel dihydro-β-agarofuran sesquiterpenoids (1-25) and 20 known analogues (26-45). Structural analysis elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic analysis, including X-ray crystallography and electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Anti-neuroinflammatory assessments in BV-2 cells revealed certain compounds effectively suppressed tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin 6 (IL-6).

The great seahorse () is one of the larger species within the seahorse group and is widely distributed in coastal areas of the Indo-Pacific. However, the natural resources of this species continue to decrease, rendering it a vulnerable species that faces a high risk of extinction. Therefore, there is an urgent need to conduct research on the genetic diversity of this species to protect its genetic resources.

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) plays a crucial role in regulating reproductive behavior in vertebrates through the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad (HPG) axis. Seahorses exhibit unique male pregnancy behavior, making them an interesting subject for investigating the regulatory mechanisms behind this behavior. In this study, we focused on the lined seahorse (Hippocampus erectus) and obtained the full-length cDNA sequences of three GnRH genes: GnRH1, GnRH2, and GnRH3.

Bone is a common site for the metastasis of malignant tumors, and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) is widely used to detect these metastases. Accurate delineation of metastatic bone lesions in SPECT images is essential for developing treatment plans. However, current clinical practices rely on manual delineation by physicians, which is prone to variability and subjective interpretation.

Glutamine metabolism is essential for infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus (ISKNV) replication. Glutaminase 1 (GLS1), the key enzyme of the glutamine metabolism, and c-Myc positively regulate ISKNV infection, while c-Myc is closely correlated with GLS1. However, the regulatory mechanism among ISKNV, c-Myc and glutamine metabolism remains unclear.

Background: The limitation in spatial resolution of bone scintigraphy, combined with the vast variations in size, location, and intensity of bone metastasis (BM) lesions, poses challenges for accurate diagnosis by human experts. Deep learning-based analysis has emerged as a preferred approach for automating the identification and delineation of BM lesions. This study aims to develop a deep learning-based approach to automatically segment bone scintigrams for improving diagnostic accuracy.

Purpose: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of radiotherapy combined with chemoimmunotherapy (RCIT) versus chemoimmunotherapy (CIT) alone as first-line treatment for oligometastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (OESCC) at initial diagnosis.

Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 140 patients newly diagnosed with OESCC who received RCIT or CIT as first-line treatment between June 2018 and December 2021. Among them, 76 patients were in the RCIT cohort and 64 patients in the CIT cohort.

Background: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is associated with an increasing incidence and mortality rate while existing treatment strategies continue to exhibit considerable limitation. Studies have demonstrated that upregulation of KLF4 gene inhibits LUAD progression, but its underlying mechanisms remain elusive. The present research explored roles and mechanisms of KLF4 and the NF-κB pathway in LUAD.

Alveolar bone defects have always been an urgent problem in the oral cavity. For some patients with periodontal disease or undergoing orthodontic treatment or implant restoration, alveolar bone defects can greatly inconvenience clinical diagnosis and treatment. Periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs) are considered a promising source for stem cell therapy due to their high osteogenic differentiation capability.

Recent advances in direct electron detectors and low-dose imaging techniques have opened up captivating possibilities for real-space visualization of radiation-induced structural dynamics. This has significantly contributed to our understanding of electron-beam radiation damage in materials, serving as the foundation for modern electron microscopy. In light of these developments, the exploration of more precise and specific beam damage mechanisms, along with the development of associated descriptive models, has expanded the theoretical framework of radiation damage beyond classical mechanisms.

Existing evidence indicates that exercise training can enhance neural function by regulating mitochondrial quality control (MQC), which can be impaired by cerebral ischemia, and that sirtuin-3 (SIRT3), a protein localized in mitochondria, is crucial in maintaining mitochondrial functions. However, the relationship among exercise training, SIRT3, and MQC after cerebral ischemia remains obscure. This study attempted to elucidate the relationship among exercise training, SIRT3 and MQC after cerebral ischemia in rats.
