A patient with longstanding rheumatoid arthritis (RA) complained of spinal cord symptoms after RA relapse. Contrast MRI demonstrated neuromyelitis in the upper thoracic spinal cord, and anti-aquaporin-4 (anti-AQP4) antibody was positive in the serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) was diagnosed after excluding central nervous system (CNS) infection and tumor, and spinal cord symptoms were relieved after high dose of glucocorticoid and immunosuppressant were initiated for treatment.

A large number of international studies have shown that Dachaihu Decoction has liver protection, gallbladder benefit, anti-inflammatory, and other pharmacological effects and is mostly used in modern clinical treatment of acute pancreatitis, acute cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and other digestive diseases. This paper combined bibliography and statistics and selected the ancient book database and CNKI database to search the relevant literature on Dachaihu decoction, verify the composition and dosage, processing method, main diseases, and modern clinical application, and predict its quality markers(Q-markers) based on the "five principles" of Q-markers.

Whole-genome duplication (WGD) events are widespread in plants and animals, thus their long-term evolutionary contribution has long been speculated, yet a specific contribution is difficult to verify. Here, we show that ɛ-WGD and ζ-WGD contribute to the origin and evolution of bona fide brassinosteroid (BR) signaling through the innovation of active BR biosynthetic enzymes and active BR receptors from their respective ancestors. We found that BR receptors BRI1 (BR INSENSITIVE 1) and BRL1/3 (BRI1-LIKES 1/3) derived by ɛ-WGD and ζ-WGD, which occurred in the common ancestor of angiosperms and seed plants, respectively, while orphan BR receptor BRL2 first appeared in stomatophytes.

However, excessive mitophagy lead to an increase in defective mitochondria and ultimately exacerbate MIRI by causing overproduction or uncontrolled production of mitochondria. Soil microorganisms are an important part of forest ecosystems, and their community structure and ecological adaptations are important for explaining soil material cycles in the fragile ecological areas. We used high-throughput sequencing technology to examine the species composition and diversity of soil bacterial and fungal communities in sea buckthorn forests at five sites in the water-wind erosion crisscross in northern Shaanxi (about 400 km long). The results are described as follows: (1) The soil bacterial community of the sea buckthorn forest in the study region was mainly dominated by Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria, and Acidobacteria, and the fungi community was mainly dominated by Ascomycota.
