Introduction: With the intensification of global aging, health management for the older adult has become a significant societal concern. Addressing challenges such as data diversity, health status complexity, long-term dependence, and data privacy is crucial for predicting older adult health behaviors.
Methods: This study designs and implements a smart older adult care service model incorporating modules like multimodal data fusion, data loss processing, nonlinear prediction, emergency detection, and privacy protection.
Dissolved oxygen (DO) is essential for the health of aquatic ecosystems, supporting biogeochemical cycles and the decomposition of organic matter. However, continuous untreated external inputs from illicit discharges or sewer overflows, coupled with inadequate ecological base flow, have led to widespread river deoxygenation and serious ecological crises. This study demonstrates that chlorinated wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluent can significantly enhance DO levels in downstream rivers, particularly in areas with high pollution loads or poor ecological base flow.

Methods: A qualitative study design with a descriptive phenomenological approach was used.
Introduction: Enfortumab vedotin (EV) and Erdafitinib are effective therapeutic drugs for bladder cancer patients following post-chemotherapy and immunotherapy. This study assessed adverse drug reactions (ADRs) from both drugs, comparing their safety profiles to guide clinical use.
Methods: A retrospective descriptive analysis was conducted on ADR reports for EV and Erdafitinib from the World Health Organization (WHO)-VigiAccess database.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and myasthenia gravis (MG) are two distinct autoimmune diseases. Compared with the general population, the incidence of RA is notably higher among patients with MG. Similarly, the rate of MG in patients diagnosed with RA is also significantly increased.

Protein fingerprinting, also known as the protein folding shape code (PFSC) method, is a protein structure prediction technique based on protein sequence, which can reveal proteins' most likely spatial conformation.
Objective: To investigate the effect of phosphorylation on tau protein conformation using PFSC technology and further analyze the differences in the effect of phosphorylation on tau aggregation at specific sites.
Teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) is a priority globally, but pedagogical methods do not always keep up with the evolving needs of learners. Problem-based learning (PBL) is an innovative pedagogical approach that facilitates students' self-regulated learning, thereby improving their English proficiency. The present systematic literature review therefore concentrates on the application of PBL methodology in improving students' English language proficiency.

In this study, we employed bioinformatics and statistics to establish a 13-centrosome-associated gene prognostic model for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) utilizing transcriptomic data from TCGA. Based on the Riskscore, patients were stratified into high- and low-risk groups.

In Chinese traditional medicine theory, XYLDT has the "heat-clearing, dampness-dispelling and gallbladder function promoting" properties, and was widely used in the clinic for decades to treat pain in the subcostal region or bitter taste in the mouth, which were induced by liver-gallbladder dampness-heat. Meanwhile, it was also used for the therapy of acute cholecystitis and cholangitis.

However, the relationship between chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) and ferroptosis, as well as its underlying molecular mechanism, remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between CRSwNP and ferroptosis and identify key gene associated with ferroptosis that could impact the diagnosis and treatment of CRS.

One of its prominent cellular components, microglia, is a potent coordinator of neuroinflammation in interplay with the characteristic AD pathological alterations including Aβ, tau, and neuronal defects, which constitute the AD-unique extracellular microenvironment. Mounting evidence implicates Triggering Receptors Expressed on Myeloid Cells 2 (TREM2) in the center of microglial activation, a vital event in the pathogenesis of AD.

Nevertheless, there remains a gap in real-world data regarding the variation in acute pancreatitis (AP) risk among different GLP-1 RAs. Our study aimed to characterize and evaluate AP associated with different GLP-1 RAs (exenatide, lixisenatide, liraglutide, albiglutide, semaglutide, dulaglutide and tirzepatide) in a public adverse events database and to review the relevant case reports.

However, a few studies focus on the prognostic value of TyG index for CVD in patients diagnosed with CKD, especially in advanced CKD patients. In this study, we aim to investigate the prognostic value of TyG index for heart failure (HF) in patients with non-dialysis CKD stage 3-5.

This study examined the effects of different inoculated sludge concentrations (3.5, 7, and 14 g/L) on start-up and nitrogen metabolism in anammox reactors.

This paper examines the feasibility and strategies for constructing an IESP. Unlike commercial internet platforms, IESP facilitates transactions in elderly care services, which are quasi-public goods requiring government guidance and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

The classic mechanism of injury involves a longitudinal traction force pulling the radial head through the annular ligament. Bilateral RHS is exceedingly rare, with only a few cases documented in the literature; notably, all cases with a provided history and physical exam presented with the classic mechanism of injury, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.

TKIs and ICIs are limited to drugs that treat renal cancer recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology for Kidney Cancer.
Methods: We described a case series of patients experiencing ONJ while on TKIs or ICIs.
Introduction: Antitumor medications such as Avastin, Berubicin, and Temozolomide have fundamentally transformed the treatment landscape for gliomas by exhibiting potent pharmacological effects on both high-grade and low-grade gliomas. This study aims to determine which anti-glioma medication presents the lowest risk for personalized use in clinical patients by assessing the adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with these medications as reported in the World Health Organization (WHO) VigiAcess database, and by comparing the characteristics of adverse responses among the three drugs.
Methods: This investigation employs a retrospective descriptive analysis method.
