Background: China has a large number of myasthenia gravis (MG) patients, creating an urgent need for rapid and tolerable treatment options. As the first-approved Fc receptor antagonist, efgartigimod has bright prospects for treating MG. However, real-world evidence on its application within the Chinese MG population are limited.

Objectives: To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognosis of acute erythroleukemia (AEL) in children.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data, treatment, and prognosis of 8 children with AEL treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2013 to December 2023.
Results: Among the 7 patients with complete bone marrow morphological analysis, 4 exhibited trilineage dysplasia, with a 100% incidence of erythroid dysplasia (7/7), a 71% incidence of myeloid dysplasia (5/7), and a 57% incidence of megakaryocytic dysplasia (4/7).
The chicken game, a well-established social dilemma paradigm, is widely used to study cooperative and competitive behaviors. Strategic decision-making in this game is influenced by the outcomes of cooperative and competitive interactions, with feedback-related event-related potentials (ERPs) during the feedback phase being a primary research focus. However, it remains unclear whether specific ERP components associated with strategic decision-making are present during the response phase.

While diagnostic methods for humans often rely on ultrasound imaging and immunodiagnostic techniques, diagnosis in intermediate hosts typically has no widely used diagnostic markers, hampering disease control efforts.
Methods: The differences in serum metabolites of sheep infected with Echinococcus granulosus and a control group were analyzed using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) separation with tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) detection.
Embodied cognition is known to play a role in verbal semantic processing. However, its involvement in nonverbal semantic elements, such as arrows, is less understood. Two spatial recognition tasks, specifically arrow-orientation recognition and arrow-position recognition, were employed using directional arrows in various spatial arrangements as visual stimuli.

Objectives: To explore the current application of high-throughput drug sensitivity (HDS) testing in children with relapsed and refractory acute leukemia (RR-AL) and analyze the feasibility of salvage treatment plans.
Methods: A retrospective collection of clinical data from children with RR-AL who underwent HDS testing at the Department of Children's Hematology and Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from November 2021 to October 2023 was conducted, followed by an analysis of drug sensitivity results and treatment outcomes.
Results: A total of 17 children with RR-AL underwent HDS testing, including 7 cases of relapsed refractory acute myeloid leukemia and 10 cases of relapsed refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) is caused by mutations in the ABCD1 gene, leading to the accumulation of very long-chain fatty acids (VLCFAs) in plasma and tissues. It primarily affects the central nervous system white matter and the adrenal cortex. Clinical manifestations include myeloneuropathy, leukodystrophy, and adrenal insufficiency.

Perovskite solar cells have emerged as a potential competitor to the silicon photovoltaic technology. The most representative perovskite cells employ SnO and spiro-OMeTAD as the charge-transport materials. Despite their high efficiencies, perovskite cells with such a configuration show unsatisfactory lifespan, normally attributed to the instability of perovskites and spiro-OMeTAD.

We report a 40-year-old female who was diagnosed as the rare disorder with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and genetic analysis mainly.

Based on their cathodic and anodic ECL intensity, α-keto acids including oxalate, glyoxylic acid, pyruvic acid, and phenylglyoxylic acid can be directly sensitively detected. The limits of detection (LOD) of oxalate, glyoxylic acid, pyruvic acid, and phenylglyoxylic acid are 31.

For MuSK-MG patients who experience acute exacerbations and do not respond to conventional treatments, there is an urgent need to find more suitable treatment options. With the advent of biologic agents, efgartigimod has shown promising results in the treatment of MG.

Cellular senescence, which is pivotal in aging, acts as both a guard against cellular transformation and as a check against cancer progression. It is marked by stable cell cycle arrest, widespread macromolecular changes, a pro-inflammatory profile, and altered gene expression.

Guangxi Bama miniature pig (GBM) offers an apt model for obesity-related studies. In this research, we used transcriptomics and 16S rRNA gene sequencing to discern the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) within intestinal (jejunum, ileum, and colon) tissues and variations in microbial communities in intestinal contents of GBM subjected to normal diets (ND) and high-fat, high-carbohydrate diets (HFHCD).

Here, an interdisciplinary design using M13 bacteriophage virus as a biotemplate to carry Fe nanoclusters, which we figuratively call "Fe-nanonests", is proposed to enable facile and versatile synthesis of MSACs. The feasibility and generality of this self-assembly method was demonstrated by the observation of six different metal single atoms (MSAs) including Ag, Pt, Pd, Zn, Cu, and Ni.

However, its function in the antiviral innate immune response remains to be determined. In this study, we report that CD97 inhibits virus-induced type-I interferon (IFN-I) release and enhances RNA virus replication in cells and mice.

Luminol@Fe-DOBDC MOFs with fluorescent emissions at 430 nm and 540 nm under excitation wavelength of 365 nm were applied to detect ascorbic acid on the basis of ascorbic acid triggering the reduction of Fe into Fe. In the presence of ascorbic acid, fluorescent intensity at 540 nm was increased significantly while fluorescent intensity at 430 nm was changed slightly.

In Caenorhabditis elegans, a brief exposure to heat shock during early adulthood extends lifespan and improves stress resistance, a phenomenon known as heat hormesis. Here, we investigated the prolonged effect of hormetic heat stress on the transcriptome of worms and found that the canonical heat shock response is followed by a profound transcriptional reprogramming in the post-stress period.
