Taro ( (L.) Schott) is a tropical tuber crop whose underground corms are used as an important staple food. However, due to a lack of molecular markers, the genetic diversity, germplasm identification, and molecular breeding of taro are greatly limited.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFFunctional fermentation strains were isolated and screened from traditional fairy beans in northern Anhui. Through technical identification, Bacillus subtilis SXD06 was determined to be the superior fermentation strain, while Wickerhamomyces anomalus YE006 was identified as the optimal aroma-producing yeast. Utilizing single-factor experiments and response surface optimization, a Central Composite Design fermentation and blending model was established.

Nanoscale metals have emerged as crucial materials for conductive inks in printed electronics due to their unique physical and chemical properties. However, the synthesis of high-precision and highly conductive copper ink remains a challenge. Herein, a high-precision, highly conductive, and oxidation-resistant nanocopper ink was synthesized to fabricate highly conductive and flexible printed electronic devices.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFpH and peroxynitrite (ONOO) are two critical biomarkers to unveil the corresponding status of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and mitochondrial dysfunction, which are closely related to Alzheimer's disease (AD). Simultaneously monitoring pH and ONOO fluctuations in the ER and mitochondria during AD progression is pivotal for clarifying the interplay between the disorders of the two organelles and revealing AD pathogenesis. Herein, we designed and synthesized a dual-channel fluorescent probe (DCFP) to visualize pH and ONOO in the ER and mitochondria.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBiomaterials that mimic extracellular matrix topography are crucial in tissue engineering. Previous research indicates that certain biomimetic topography can guide stem cells toward multiple specific lineages. However, the mechanisms by which topographic cues direct stem cell differentiation remain unclear.
