Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) film is the predominant encapsulation material in crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules, the efficient and eco-friendly processing of which is essential for the recycling of the modules. Among the various existing techniques, the chemical approach uses solvents to induce swelling and dissolution on the EVA film to facilitate the separation of distinct layers. This method demonstrates the potential for achieving low-energy consumption and minimal-damage retrieval of the diverse materials within the components.

(AlO)(HfO) films with varying compositions were deposited on silicon substrates via plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD), and metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitors were fabricated. The impact of varying induced Al content on the dielectric properties of HfO was examined through electrical measurements. The results showed that increasing Al content raised the flat-band voltage, reduced the interface state density (D), and significantly lowered the leakage current at a given voltage.

Background: The refinement of risk stratification in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) plays a pivotal role in advancing precision medicine; however, the current staging classification falls short of comprehensiveness, particularly in the case of stage IA patients. We aimed to molecularly stratify LUAD patients especially for stage IA.

Methods: We analysed tumour heterogeneity and identified highly proliferating cancer cells (HPCs) in LUAD by performing single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis, immunohistochemical (IHC) staining using a tissue microarray, flow cytometry and biological experiments.

Highly selective and efficient extraction of lithium from brine is considered a promising strategy to alleviate the imbalance between supply and demand of lithium resources. However, it is still challenging for lithium ions (Li) recovery from brine. In this work, LiMnO nanoparticles embedded in situ in carbon networks (LMO-C) derived from metal-organic frameworks by incomplete calcination have been developed for lithium extraction from brine via the hybrid capacitive deionization (HCDI) process.

The venoms of Theraphosidae spiders have evolved into diverse natural pharmacopeias through selective pressures. is a global health threat that frequently causes life-threatening meningitis and fungemia, particularly in immunocompromised patients. In this study, we identify a novel anti- peptide, QS18 (QCFKVCFRKRCFTKCSRS), from the venom gland of China's native spider species by utilizing bioinformatic tools.
