Lysosomal membrane protein LYCHOS (lysosomal cholesterol signaling) translates cholesterol abundance to mammalian target of rapamycin activation. Here we report the 2.11-Å structure of human LYCHOS, revealing a unique fusion architecture comprising a G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)-like domain and a transporter domain that mediates homodimer assembly.

The development of an environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and efficient demulsifier that operates effectively at low concentrations remains a significant challenge. This study introduces an eco-friendly ionic liquid demulsifier, Cotton Cellulose-Dodecylamine (CCDA), which demonstrates exceptional demulsification performance at low concentrations.

Here, we report a rare case of a breastfeeding patient who had an embedded abdominal greater omentum in the anterior wall of the uterus and into the uterine cavity during D&E&C. We used combined hysteroscopic and laparoscopic treatment for this case and successfully removed the embedded greater omentum.

Objective: This study aims to explore the association between Life's Essential 8 (LE8) and stroke and all-cause mortality, and compare whether it has an advantage over Life's Simple 7 (LS7).
Methods: This study investigated data from NHANES spanning from 1999 to 2018. The LE8 was categorized as low, moderate and high cardiovascular health (CVH).
Therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia (t-AML), which develops after cytotoxic therapy, has a poorer prognosis. Although allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a potential cure, its efficacy varies among patients. In this retrospective study, we analyzed 154 patients with t-AML who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) at our institution to determine their clinical characteristics and develop a prognostic nomogram.
