Aging is inevitable processes which play a significant role in the development of various diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancers. The extension of lifespan and the improvement of age-related diseases can potentially be achieved by targeting evolutionarily conserved pathways and mechanisms through pharmacological interventions. Chrysophanol (Chr), a naturally occurring anthraquinone compound primarily derived from rhubarb of the Polygonaceae family, exhibits a wide range of pharmacological activities, including anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial effects.

Cisplatin-based chemotherapy is a primary treatment for bladder cancer, yet the development of chemoresistance poses a significant therapeutic challenge. Insulin-like growth factor II mRNA binding protein 3 (IGF2BP3) is an RNA-binding protein and a key m6A reader that regulates various cancers through m6A-dependent mechanisms. However, its role in chemotherapy resistance in bladder cancer remains unclear.

Particle adsorption at the oil-water interface is an important strategy for emulsion stabilization against coalescence, however, the particle occupation of the interface and the requirement of free interfaces in many applications is a contradiction. We report an emulsion type with low droplet surface coverage but enhanced stability by employing colloidal rings as emulsifiers. The formed emulsions provide a large accessible oil-water interface (>80%).
