Background: Non-invasive treatments, such as 5-Aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (5-ALA-PDT), has gained increasing attention among women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 (CIN2) who have fertility requirements. To compare the effectiveness of 5-ALA-PDT and loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) in patients with CIN2, we conducted this prospective cohort study in Chinese patients with CIN2.
Methods: 229 patients with CIN2 were enrolled.
In the later stages of Parkinson's disease (PD), patients often manifest levodopa-induced dyskinesia (LID), compromising their quality of life. The pathophysiology underlying LID is poorly understood, and treatment options are limited. To move toward filling this treatment gap, the intrinsic and synaptic changes in striatal spiny projection neurons (SPNs) triggered by the sustained elevation of dopamine (DA) during dyskinesia were characterized using electrophysiological, pharmacological, molecular and behavioral approaches.

The TAPA was structurally characterized, and the properties were studied. The results showed that the TAPA had a good spherical structure with a median particle size (D50) of 16.

We examined the association between receipt of sivelestat and improvement in oxygenation among patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) induced by COVID-19.
Methods: A large multicentre cohort study of patients with ARDS induced by COVID-19 who had been admitted to intensive care units (ICUs).
