Sensitive and accurate determination of acetamiprid is highly desirable for guaranteeing food safety. In this Letter, an energy-transfer-based dual-mode biosensor was developed using zinc-based metal-organic frameworks (Zn-MOFs) acting as both photoelectrochemical (PEC) and electrochemiluminescent (ECL) donors and Pt@CuO cubic nanocrystals (CNs) as the energy acceptor for detecting acetamiprid. By integration of aptamer recognition with two-step DNA circuit amplification (entropy-driven DNA cycle and DNA walker), the detection of acetamiprid was converted into the assay of abundant intermediate DNA strands.

The process of developing new drugs is arduous and costly, particularly for targets classified as "difficult-to-drug." Macrocycles show a particular ability to modulate difficult-to-drug targets, including protein-protein interactions, while still allowing oral administration. However, the determination of membrane permeability, critical for reaching intracellular targets and for oral bioavailability, is laborious and expensive.

Fully π-conjugated polymers consisting of plane and rigid aromatic units present a fantastic optoelectronic property, a promising candidate for printed and flexible optoelectronic devices. However, obtaining high-performance conjugated polymers with an excellent intrinsically flexible and printable capacity is a great challenge due to their inherent coffee-ring effect and brittle properties. Here, we report an asymmetric substitution strategy to improve the printable and stretchable properties of deep-blue light-emitting conjugated polymers with a strong inter-aggregate capillary interaction for flexible printed polymer light-emitting diodes.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by memory impairment and cognitive decline, ultimately culminating in dementia. This study aims to evaluate cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) and functional connectivity (FC) in patients with AD and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), bypassing the requirement for hypercapnia. The study cohort comprised 53 AD patients, 38 MCI patients, and 39 normal control (NC) subjects.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a lethal lung disease characterised by irreversible lung structure and function. Phillygenin (PHI) is a lignan extracted from Forsythiae fructus with the activities of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. This study aimed to explore the protective effect of PHI on IPF.
