Two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy (2DES) has high spectral resolution and is a useful tool for studying atomic dynamics. In this paper, we show a smallest unit of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) for 2DES, i.e.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIron is one of the indispensable trace elements in living organisms. However, excessive iron deposition in organisms is prone to induce dysfunction of the liver and other vital organs. The present study aimed to investigate the mechanism how aquatic high iron affects iron transport and induces hepatic injury in zebrafish.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLithium-sulfur batteries (LSBs) face challenges from the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) and slow redox kinetics. In this study, a NiCo-Doped 3D Ordered Mesoporous Carbon (NiCo-3DOMC) composite material is synthesized using a gel-crystalline template and sol-gel method to modify polypropylene separators in LSBs. Density Functional Theory calculations and experiment results demonstrate that under a magnetic field, the NiCo-3DOMC enhances adsorption and catalyzes the conversion of LiPSs, effectively mitigating the shuttle effect and boosting redox kinetics.

To address these challenges, new low-k dielectric (k < 2) materials need to be developed to replace current silicon dioxide (k = 3.9) or SiCOH, etc.

However, the genetic mechanisms underlying its formation and seasonal changes remain poorly understood.
Results: To identify genes and biological processes associated with the development and seasonal variations of nuptial pads, we conducted a comprehensive transcriptome analysis on nuptial pads and hind toe skin across both sexes at different breeding periods in R.
