The Curcuma genus is extensively used in food, traditional medicine, and spice, however, nine closely related varieties are frequently misidentified, leading to mislabeling and adulteration. This study presents an innovative and practical strategy for precise differentiation of nine Curcumae varieties-eight authentic and one counterfeit. For the first time, comprehensive characterizations were conducted using LC-Orbitrap MS, and 702 non-volatiles were annotated, laying a groundwork for marker selection and identification.

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have attracted significant attention due to their high theoretical energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness, which are considered one of the most promising candidates for next-generation energy storage devices. However, the sluggish kinetics associated with sulfur oxidation-reduction reactions and the detrimental shuttle effect caused by lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) significantly impacts the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries. Chromosomal rearrangements (CR) initiate leukemogenesis in approximately 50 % of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients; however, limited targeted therapies exist due to a lack of accurate molecular and genetic biomarkers of refractory mechanisms during treatment. Here, we investigated the pathological landscape of treatment resistance and relapse in 16 CR-AML patients by monitoring cytogenetic, RNAseq, and genome-wide changes among newly diagnosed, refractory, and relapsed AML.
