Peritonitis is a critical complication in peritoneal dialysis, often leading to peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatment failure. We present a rare case of (NS)-related peritonitis in a 47-year-old male with multiple comorbidities. Despite NS's infrequent association with infections, prompt diagnosis and antibiotic therapy based on International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) guidelines led to a favorable outcome.

Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) is an asymptomatic premalignant plasma cell dyscrasia with a predominate rise of the IgG immunoglobulin fraction without end-organ damage, often diagnosed incidentally. Despite its progression into various subsequent forms of hematological malignancies, MGUS remains underdiagnosed. A literature search was conducted using the Medline, Cochrane, Embase, and Google Scholar databases, including articles published until December 2022.

Sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) comprising obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is found in more than half of patients with heart failure (HF) and may have negative impacts on cardiovascular function. Increased atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and the development of coronary events and congestive heart failure are associated with OSA. It is associated with a substandard quality of life, increased hospitalizations, and a poor prognosis.
