Uncontrolled fires place considerable burdens on forest ecosystems, compromising our ability to meet conservation and restoration goals. A poor understanding of the impacts of fire on ecosystems and their biodiversity exacerbates this challenge, particularly in tropical regions where few studies have applied consistent analytical techniques to examine a broad range of ecological impacts over multiyear time frames. We compiled 16 y of data on ecosystem properties (17 variables) and biodiversity (21 variables) from a tropical peatland in Indonesia to assess fire impacts and infer the potential for recovery.

So, this study aims to determine the influence of industrial activity as reflected by the value of its imports and exports, wind speed, and ozone (O) on the high concentration of tropospheric NO. The method used is the econometric Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) approach to capture the existence of a short-term and long-term relationship between tropospheric NO and its predictor variables.

Different purslane herbs showed different antioxidant activities, suggesting they will have different flavonoid content and wound healing activity. This research aimed to evaluate purslane's total flavonoid content and wound-healing activity.

Currently, environmental degradation has become a global issue that needs to address frequently and also needs the attention of recent studies and regulators. Therefore, the present research examines the impact of energy consumption such as fossil fuel energy use, electric power use, and energy import along with economic growth on the ecological environment of ASEAN countries. The current study has gathered secondary data from world development indicators (WDI) from 1989 to 2019.

Soybeans are a source of plant-based protein with a fairly complete composition of essential amino acids. Most of the soybean raw material in Indonesia originates from the United States of America where around 75% of the soybeans are transgenic soybeans (Roundup Ready GMO). One of the easily produced and practical soybean products is soy flour.

This paper assesses government support measures to the air transport sector following the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic from two points of view. First, it explores the factors that shape governments' willingness to support airlines. This is followed by a discussion on the various types of support that may be provided and how country-specific parameters influence the choice of measures.

The membranes were prepared via a phase-inversion method (non-solvent-induced phase separation (NIPS)). As separators for lithium battery systems, additive modified montmorillonite (MMT) nano-clay served as a filler and poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) was used as a pore-forming agent.

Using transcriptome analysis, we identified promoters that are specifically activated by volatiles released from spoiled meat. The most strongly activated promoter was PsboA, which drives expression of the genes required for the bacteriocin subtilosin.
