Rare complication of doxorubicin-induced complete heart block in a patient with Hodgkin's lymphoma: a case report.

Anthracyclines are associated with cardiotoxic manifestations that are mainly dose-dependent, with onset varying from a few days to many years after stopping treatment. Frequent monitoring for toxic manifestations, early detection, cessation of anthracycline use and appropriate treatment is the key to preventing morbidity and mortality. Complete heart block with doxorubicin use in Hodgkin's lymphoma is rarely reported, and is a severe toxic manifestation necessitating withdrawal or changing of regimen to etoposide + bleomycin + vinblastine + dacarbazine (EBVD), as in this case.

: Autologous HCT in multiple myeloma is done as upfront treatment in newly diagnosed transplant eligible patients after induction chemotherapy. A study of viral hepatitis e infection in a tertiary care hospital in mysore, South India.

Background: In this study, we aimed to explore the clinical and epidemiological profile of all patients with hepatitis E virus (HEV) who were admitted to a tertiary care hospital in Mysore, India and to further assess various factors that influence the prognosis of these patients.

Methods: Two hundred ninety patients with HEV infection were included in the study and interviewed. They were subjected to clinical examination and laboratory investigations, including complete hemogram, renal, and liver function tests.
