Here we describe a previously unreported patient with presentation of synchronous Wilms tumor and Choroid plexus papilloma, leading to the diagnosis of a Li-Fraumeni Syndrome (LFS).
Case Presentation: A 6-year-old girl without previous complains presented with abdominal pain.
This preliminary study describes the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on people's interests, opinions, and behaviour towards food. Here, the evolution of people's internet searches, the characteristics of the most watched YouTube videos, and Tweeted messages in relation to COVID-19 and food was studied. Additionally, an online questionnaire (Spanish population, n = 362) studied changes in food shopping habits during the lockdown, motivations behind the changes, and perceived reliability of the information received from media.

Here we test the hypothesis that relationships among environmental and community time series are nonstationary in the Gulf of Alaska ecosystem (North Pacific Ocean) over multidecadal time scales. We examined the diagnostic, stratification and prognostic biomarker roles in urine of the methylation of a novel panel of tumor suppressor genes in bladder cancer.
Material And Methods: We evaluated the methylation of 18 tumor suppressor genes in 2 prospective, independent sets of urine samples (training set of 120 preparations and validation set of 128) from patients with bladder cancer (170) and controls (78) using methylation specific multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification.
Background: Changes in DNA methylation of crucial cancer genes including tumor suppressors can occur early in carcinogenesis, being potentially important early indicators of cancer. The objective of this study was to examine a multiplexed approach to assess the methylation of tumor suppressor genes as tumor stratification and clinical outcome prognostic biomarkers for lung cancer.
Methods: A multicandidate probe panel interrogated DNA for aberrant methylation status in 18 tumor suppressor genes in lung cancer using a methylation-specific multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification assay (MS-MLPA).
Objectives: To define the prevalence of microalbuminuria (MAU) in hypertensive outpatients attending a cardiologist or internist (i-SEARCH A) and to compare hypertensive outpatients with or without coronary artery disease (CAD; i-SEARCH B). A secondary objective was to establish a correlation between MAU and known cardiovascular risk factors.
Methods: i-SEARCH was an international, observational study.
Background: Diverse materials have been used for dural closure, including grafts of cadaveric origin. Some 168 cases of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease have been reported following the implant of human dura mater. A few publications have addressed the use of dural grafts in children, but none has analyzed the feasibility of autologous tissues for this purpose.
