This paper analyzes and predicts age-sex mortality rates by causes in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The following methods of analysis were used: the Lee-Carter model, singular value decomposition, and ARIMA-modeling. The forecast results suggest that by 2025 the Republic of Bashkortostan will have lower mortality due to malignant neoplasms in all age groups, except for the 70+ group for women and 50+ age groups for men; lower mortality due to diseases of the circulatory system in all age groups for men and higher mortality in 45+ age groups for women; lower mortality due to injuries in all age groups for both sexes; no significant changes in mortality due to respiratory diseases; increased mortality from gastrointestinal diseases for both sexes at all ages, except for children; higher mortality due to infections at 20-54 for men and 20-64 for women; and almost half lower mortality from infections in the age group of 0-4 years for both sexes.

Influence of anxiety (tested by Luscher) on the spatial organization of brain electrical activity was studied using multichannel EEG recording. In subjects with a high-level of anxiety, the level of coherence and spectral power of some high-frequency EEG components was higher in the parieto-temporal regions of both hemispheres than that in the opposite group. Solving the inverse problem (classification of individuals with one of the groups) made it possible to work out the criteria of automated evaluation of the anxiety level at the preclinic state of neuropsychic disorders.

In extracting the neurovascular bundles from their channels heat reflow to the palate was more fast and pronounced than with the bundles sectioned.

In the frog non-fatigued sartorius muscle, raise of the ratio of muscle-emanated heat to the performed mechanical work is due to the aerobic delayed heat production. The heat emanation reflects the respiratory resynthesis of macroergs used for subsequent contractile muscle activity. Contrary to that, raise of the ratio in fatigued muscle reflects the excitation-contraction coupling disturbance and a specific increase of the energy supply for excitable link.

The ACTH was shown to increase whereas hydrocortisone entailed no changes of the muscle contraction amplitude, the duration of the muscle work to fatigue in the regimen of solitary rhythmic contractions being, however, shortened in both bases. The heat production for a unit of the muscle work remained the same after ACTH and decreased after hydrocortisone. The corticotropin increases whereas hydrocortisone decreases the efficiency of the energy substances usage by the working muscles.
