Ankle injuries are among the most common musculoskeletal injuries in the elderly. However, among the new scientific publications, both foreign and domestic, there are almost no examples and algorithms for conducting rehabilitation exercises for elderly patients, which prevents the introduction of these practices into rehabilitation measures. The purpose of our study is to evaluate the created technique of physical rehabilitation and, with a reliable result, to introduce it into the daily work of doctors of various profiles who provide assistance to patients with ankle joint injuries.

The obtained complex was characterized by various spectroscopic methods. The catalytic properties of the complex were evaluated in the curing of an epoxy vinyl ester system and their effectiveness was compared with that of cobalt octoate (its synonyms are known as Co(Oct), cobalt(II) 2-ethylhexanoate, cobalt isocaprylate, etc.

This paper discusses the feasibility of recycling fiberglass with an epoxy matrix by solvolysis in ethanol under supercritical conditions. The solvolysis process completes successfully within four hours in an environment of a pure solvent containing 10% water at a temperature of 280 °C when the solvent passes into the supercritical state.

The dynamics of clinical manifestations of osteochondrosis after rehabilitation treatment relative to the age of patients in groups showed that the effectiveness of the technique is much higher in elderly patients, in contrast to senile patients and centenarians. The study revealed no significant complications and side effects when using this technique, which allows us to recommend it as a means of secondary prevention of diseases of the cervical and thoracic osteochondrosis, especially in the presence of contraindications to the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and glucocorticoids.

To solve the problem, sliding mode observers are used. The suggested approach is based on the reduced order model of the original system having different sensitivity to faults and disturbances.

The paper presents some aspects of professional growth, continuous education and working conditions of female dentists having impact on treatment quality and dental service state in general. Questionnaire survey was carried out in 124 dentists, both male and female, aged 22 to 60 years. The study revealed gender asymmetry influencing their competitive ability, physical and emotional well-being.

The research includes an investigation of the tap water in different districts of Moscow. It was found out that Moscow tap water contains little fluoride, the difference between districts and okrugs is of no consequence. There is no centralized water fluoridization in Moscow therefore the authors suggest using bottled potable water with sufficient fluoride level.

The present study focuses on (cytosine-5)-DNA methyltransferase Ecl18kI (M.Ecl18kI), which is almost identical to DNA methyltransferase SsoII (M.

During immunization with NGF the highest concentrations of antibodies were created in the first and third days of pregnancy (in different groups of animals). The dependence of abnormalities of mice postnatal development on level of antibodies to NGF at different stages of early embryogenesis has been established.

Bacillus cereus is a widely distributed bacterium with distinct pathogenic properties. Hemolysin II (HlyII) is one of its pore-forming cytotoxins and has been shown to be involved in bacterial pathogenicity in a number of cell and animal models.

It is known that AB2 to insulin can interact with insulin receptor. It was shown that changes of levels AB1 and AB2 to insulin are often observed at pregnants suffered from diabetes type I.

Methods: We present 2 cases of posttraumatic left-sided diaphragmatic hernia complicated by strangulation and colon obstruction.
The Eco29kI restriction-modification (R-M) system consists of two partially overlapping genes, eco29kIR, encoding a restriction endonuclease and eco29kIM, encoding methyltransferase. The two genes are thought to form an operon with the eco29kIR gene preceding the eco29kIM gene. Such an organization is expected to complicate establishment of plasmids containing this R-M system in naive hosts, since common logic dictates that methyltransferase should be synthesized first to protect the DNA from cleavage by the endonuclease.

A clinical stomatological and social research of 432 young people at the age of 16-25 years was wade in establishments for higher and specialized secondary education in Moscow. It was found out that unbalanced food dominated by soft carbohydrates, frequent eating of sweets as well as low medical culture, lack of sanitary and hygienic knowledge and skills, negligence of preventive control contribute greatly to progression of caries and paradontal diseases. Bad habits and unheavy somatic affections do not have time early in life to exhibit their bad influence on teeth but they can violate the paradont.

A clinical epidemiologic study was made among 432 Moscow students and as a part of it was found the high prevalence rate of pathologies of dentition and variety of nosologic forms. The most common cases were: caries, periodontal disease, deformity and anomalies of tooth position. These findings were necessary to estimate the need of all types of dentistry for Moscow students.

Literature data and personal experience with laparoscopic restoration of the continuity of the colon after Hartmann's procedure in 19 patients allowed the authors to conclude that minimally traumatic procedures had a number of advantages over operations of wide laparotomy such as less blood loss, rapid restoration of the intestinal motility, early activation of the patients, shorter postoperative stay at hospital. They are also thought to be effective methods of treatment and prophylactics of peritoneal commissures and their complications.
