The clinical course of 40 patients with significant quantities of mixed cryoglobulins, but without lymphoproliferative, collagen-vascular or chronic infectious diseases, is presented. These cases comprise 51.3 percent of all mixed and 31.

About 1 week after injection, the grossly visible nodular lesion reaches its maximum size and regresses, becoming hemorrhagic and necrotic. Unlike vacciiia, the morphogenesis of the RFV has not been validated satisfactorily.

Grains are found in the cytoplasm, nucleus, and nucleolus. At 2 hr, grains are localized predominantly over the nucleolar regions.

WB virus has been shown to have a fine structure which is characteristic of members of the mumps-NDV-parainfluenza group of viruses. Viral internal component has been demonstrated within the cytoplasm of infected cells. The incorporation of internal component into virus filaments at the cell surface has also been demonstrated.

The incubation of these subcellular fractions with ferritin-labelled antibody revealed localization of the antibody on mitochondria and lysosomes, but no specific morphological effect of antibody and complement. Incubation of the cell fractions with antibody and complement did not impair the efficiency of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation or affect the latency and sedimentation characteristics of lysosomal acid phosphatase.
