Materials And Methods: A systematic review and network meta-analysis was conducted after registration with PROSPERO. (PROSPERO ID CRD42022303441).
Background: Rehabilitation of dental arches with the help of dental implants has been revolutionary and a significant part of research is devoted to increasing its success rate. One of the most common causes of failure of dental implants is -implantitis caused due to microbial invasion. Newer strategies are being adapted for the treatment of -implantits and recent surgical management with the help of antibiotic-impregnated bone grafts shows a promising future.

- A study compared compliance and complication rates among three groups: those receiving verbal instructions, verbal plus written instructions, and those using the ExoDont app.
- Results showed that patients using the ExoDont app had the highest compliance with medication and postoperative instructions, especially regarding dietary restrictions and care protocols, although some lifestyle restrictions like smoking and alcohol had less significant compliance improvements.
Background: The postoperative period is crucial for the initiation of healing and prevention of complications after any surgical procedure. Due to factors such as poor compliance, comprehension, and retention of instructions, and other unaccounted factors, the objectives of postoperative care are not always achieved. Therefore, an Android-based mobile health app (ExoDont) was developed to ensure a smooth postoperative period for patients after a dental extraction.
