Photodynamic therapy (PDT) stands out as a noteworthy development as an alternative targeted treatment against skin ailments. While PDT has advanced significantly, research into photo-activatable "Green drugs" derived from plants which are less toxic than the synthetic drugs has not kept pace. This study investigates the potential of Fagopyrin F Containing Fraction (FCF) derived from Fagopyrum tataricum in mediating PDT against Staphylococcus aureus and skin cancer cells (A431).

In this study, a pan-drug resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae MS1 strain was isolated from a healthy broiler farm and studied. From the results of the study, MS1 was found to be is resistant to 18 tested antibiotics and has a high-risk to be pathogenic to humans with a probability of 0.

Methods: Structural analogs of carbenoxolone (CBX) were selected from DrugBank database and their Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, and Toxicity (ADMET) parameters were investigated by SwissADME. Molecular docking of CBX analogs against 11β-HSD1 was performed by AutoDock tool, their binding patterns were visualized using PyMOL and the interacting amino acids were determined by ProteinPlus tool.
Metabolism of an organism underlies its phenotype, which depends on many factors, such as the genetic makeup, habitat, and stresses to which it is exposed. This is particularly important for the prokaryotes, which undergo significant vertical and horizontal gene transfers. In this study we have used the energy-intensive Aromatic Amino Acid (Tryptophan, Tyrosine and Phenylalanine, TTP) biosynthesis pathway, in a large number of prokaryotes, as a model system to query the different levels of organization of metabolism in the whole intracellular biochemical network, and to understand how perturbations, such as mutations, affects the metabolic flux through the pathway - in isolation and in the context of other pathways connected to it.

It can affect the child's overall quality of life and sometimes may lead to skeletal malocclusion. Management of such patients requires a multidisciplinary approach.

This case report shows cold abscess with a draining sinus due to dental origin. A 7-year-old female patient complained of pain with respect to grossly decayed tooth and recurrent swelling with no response to medications.

Currently, there are no effective therapies available for corona virus infections. Since the three viruses belong to the same family and share many common features, we can theoretically design a drug that can be effective on all the three of them.

Tryptophan biosynthetic pathway has five chemical reaction steps that are highly conserved in diverse microbial genomes, though the genes of the pathway enzymes show considerable variations in arrangements, operon structure (gene fusion and splitting) and regulation. We use a combined bioinformatic and statistical analyses approach to address the question if the pathway genes from different microbial genomes, belonging to a wide range of groups, show similar evolutionary relationships within and between them.

Carbamezapine (CBZ) is a lipophilic drug which shows it antiepileptic activity by inactivating sodium channels. The solid lipid Nanoparticles (SLN) of Chitosan-CBZ were prepared by using solvent injection method using ethanol as organic solvent.

Materials And Methods: Children in the age range between 3 and 5 years were selected from different schools of both Chennai and Hyderabad, with a complete set of primary dentition. Study casts were obtained and assessment of spacing in the primary dentition and the primary molar relationship were recorded in centric occlusion.

Background: Cleft lip and palate is a common congenital defect. It is one of the most common facial deformities occurring in major racial and ethnic groups.
Aims: The aim of the present study was to record the post-surgical dentofacial deformities in operated cleft lip and palate children, as well as to assess the multitude and magnitude of their dental and other related problems so as to formulate an appropriate treatment plan for complete oral rehabilitation of these children.
