Objectives: Eyelid margin lesions cause discomfort by impeding both central and peripheral vision, depending on their position on the eyelids, thus hindering everyday routines. However, surgical excision, radiofrequency, electrocautery, and cryosurgery are employed for treatment, although they are complicated and have functional limitations. Carbon dioxide (CO) lasers were used to assess the efficacy, safety, and patient satisfaction with CO laser ablation in managing eyelid margin lesions.

Background: Forensic odontology involves the identification of individuals through dental records, making it a crucial tool in legal investigations. Non-metric dental traits (NMDT), which are variations in dental morphology play a key role as these traits are inherited characteristics that can help establish biological relationships or ancestry. Thus, we aim to assess the frequency and variability of NMDT in the human dentition of four ethnically mixed populations in Uttar Pradesh.

This diversity has led to confusion and disagreement regarding the terminology and classification of this lesion. The previous classification attempts to categorize COC into two concepts.

ACC of the head and neck may have a low-grade histological appearance. This malignant tumor has unusual clinical characteristics such as occasional regional lymph node metastases and a prolonged yet continuously advancing clinical course.

Lipschutz ulcer is a rare nonvenereal condition affecting predominantly young females who are not sexually exposed and can be triggered by various infectious agents, trauma, and drugs. It presents with single or multiple painful ulcers over labia minora, labia majora, vestibule, and lower part of the vagina and may be preceded by prodromal symptoms akin to influenza or mononucleosis. Diagnosis is based on specific criteria, which include age, ulcer characteristics, and absence of immunodeficiency.

Materials And Methods: Thirty maxillary molars ( = 30) were taken, and class II cavities were prepared with a gingival seat extending below the cementoenamel junction. These teeth were divided into three groups for subgingival margin elevation using different materials: Group A ( = 10) - flowable composite, Group B ( = 10) - glass ionomer cement (GIC), and Group C ( = 10) - GIC with nanohydroxyapatite (GIC n-HAp).
Context: External inflammatory root resorption has rapid onset and progresses aggressively. It leads to cementum loss, which allows communication between the infected pulp and the periodontium through the denuded dentinal tubules. Primary management strategy includes adequate chemomechanical debridement and lesion arrest for which maintaining alkaline pH and aerobic conditions is essential for healing and repair of the resorption defect.

The H-Ras, a proto-oncogene, becomes an oncogene when mutated and has been implicated in various cancers. This systematic review aims to research to what extent H-Ras expression and mutation contribute to the development and progression of OSCC, and how does this molecular alteration impacts the clinical characteristics and prognosis in patients with OSCC.

Bioceramic sealers have excellent bioactivity, but its high alkalinity is found to have detrimental effects on radicular collagen. Collagen cross linkers have the ability to chemically modify collagen and can prevent the detrimental effects of the sealer.

Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α is a transcriptional protein that has been extensively researched in human cancers whose overexpression is found to be associated with unfavorable prognosis. Contemporary studies have proved its vital role in ameloblastoma by correlating its expression with the aggressiveness of the tumor. Therefore, an attempt was made to explore its significance in the malignant transformation and prognosis of ameloblastoma.

The RNA-binding protein ZC3H11A is involved in nuclear mRNA export, NF-κB signaling, and is essential during mouse embryo development. Furthermore, previous studies have shown that ZC3H11A is important for nuclear-replicating viruses.

Aim: To compare the efficacy and safety of FCL alone and combined use of FCL with PRP in the treatment of acne scars.
Materials And Methods: This was a split-face (right-left) comparative study including 32 patients with moderate to severe acne scars.
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is the major causative pathogen associated with hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis. The main virion component, the Core (C) protein, is involved in multiple aspects of HCV pathology including oncogenesis and immune evasion. In this study, we established a next-generation bisulfite sequencing (NGS-BS) protocol to analyze the CpG methylation profile at the tumor suppressor gene SHP-1 P2 promoter as a model system.

The main virion component, the core (C) protein, has been linked to several aspects of HCV pathology, including oncogenesis, immune evasion and stress responses. We and others have previously shown that C expression in various cell lines activates Ca signaling and alters Ca homeostasis.

The main virion component, the core (C) protein, has been implicated in several aspects of HCV pathology including oncogenesis and immune subversion. Here we show that expression of the C protein induced specific tyrosine phosphorylation of the TCR-related signaling proteins ZAP-70, LAT and PLC-γ in the T cells.

Construction of complete denture with adequate retention is a complex procedure. Use of suction cup in a maxillary denture is one of the techniques to improve retention. Palatal Suction cup, which provides high retention by inducing negative pressure on the mucosal surface, is not being recommended because of its pathological effect on the palatal tissues leading to palatal perforation.

Missing data problem degrades the statistical power of any analysis made in clinical studies. To infer valid results from such studies, suitable method is required to replace the missing values. There is no method which can be universally applicable for handling missing values and the main objective of this paper is to introduce a common method applicable in all cases of missing data.
