Graft rejection and Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) are some of the significant factors resulting in morbidity and mortality following allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. Prophylaxis for GVHD using T-cell depleting agents is helpful in reducing the transplant-related mortality and graft rejection.
