Treatment of May-Thurner's Syndrome and Associated Complications: A Multicenter Experience.

Objective: To assess the treatment options and associated complications in patients with May-Thurner's syndrome (MTS).

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the charts of patients diagnosed with MTS. Thorough review was completed and data relevant to methods of diagnosis, treatment, complications, hospital readmission, and mortality were extracted from patient charts.

Background: Values of fractional flow reserve (FFR) by coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) decline from the ostium to the terminal vessel, irrespective of stenosis severity. The purpose of this study is to determine if the site of measurement of FFR impacts assessment of ischemia and its diagnostic performance relative to invasive FFR (FFR).

Methods: 1484 patients underwent FFR; 1910 vessels were stratified by stenosis severity (normal; <25%, 25-50%, 50-70%, and >70% stenosis).

Slippery Stents: A Case Report and Review of the Literature Describing Patients with May-Thurner Syndrome That Experienced Stent Migration.

Endovascular stent placement is an effective treatment for relieving chronic venous obstruction in patients with May-Thurner Syndrome (MTS) with or without the presence of thrombotic lesions. Stent migration is a rare but potentially life-threatening complication of endovascular stenting. Herein, we describe a case of stent migration from the left common iliac vein into the right heart, requiring open-heart surgery.
