Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of peripherally inserted central catheter insertion techniques in preventing the occurrence of complications related to this device in newborns.
Method: a paired and network systematic literature review and meta-analysis, with its search carried out in seven databases and in the Grey Literature, including randomized and non-randomized clinical trials. The risk of bias was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias 2 and Risk of Bias In Non-randomized Studies of Interventions tools.
Objective: To identify and summarize evidence about the benefits of perioperative pain neuroscience education (PNE) on pain-related and psychosocial outcomes.
Methods: Included were reports written in English that carried out PNE or its synonyms; perioperative period; aged ≥ 18 years; interventional studies and observational studies. Secondary studies, conference abstracts, and editorials were excluded.
The advances in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) care have substantially increased survival, and the late effects of treatment are a growing concern. Obesity development is frequent following ALL therapy and may significantly contribute to long-term morbidity and mortality. We examined the body mass trajectory of 208 children with ALL, from the diagnosis to the completion of therapy.

Methods: This was a systematic review conducted by searching Cochrane Library, LILACS, Livivo, PubMed, and Science Direct. Observational studies addressing the association between exposure to EDs and breast cancer risk in adults were included.

Objective: Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are viewed as a major potential link between the environment and obesity development. We did a systematic review and meta-analysis to examine the association between exposure to EDCs and obesity.
Data Sources, Design And Eligibility Criteria: PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science were searched from inception to 6 June 2018 for studies primarily addressing the association between exposure to EDCs after the age of 2 years and anthropometric measures of obesity or body fat.
