Background Nasogastric tube insertion is a routinely performed technique in anesthetized and intubated patients. However, failure leads to repeated insertion attempts causing injury, which makes the situation cumbersome. Therefore, we introduce a simple technique of deflating endotracheal tube cuff for nasogastric tube insertion in such patients.

Background And Aims: Post-craniotomy pain has often been overlooked and undertreated. Various classes of analgesic drugs have been used, not without limitations. Therefore, we planned to study the novel technique of wound instillation of ropivacaine through the surgical drain in patients undergoing supratentorial craniotomy to study its effect on post-craniotomy pain, analgesic requirement in the post-operative period along with the recovery profile of the patient and the side effects.

Background: The second wave of COVID-19 pandemic was not only associated with a rapid and severe surge in the number of cases but also limited availability of recommended medicines. Baricitinib has been known to reduce recovery time in COVID-19 pneumonia in association with remdesivir. Tofacitinib, with limited evidence, was used in severe COVID-19 pneumonia based on its similarity of action with baricitinib.
