Despite numerous attempts to understand the molecular mechanisms behind the development of liver cancer, it continues to pose a significant worldwide health challenge. Transcriptome sequencing, a powerful tool in molecular biology, has played a pivotal role in uncovering the intricate gene expression profiles underlying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In the present study, we identified a total of 808 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), with 584 exhibiting downregulation, and 224 showing upregulation following apigetrin treatment.

However, finding effective drugs that can bind to the RAS protein remains challenging. This drove us to explore new compounds that could inhibit tumor growth, particularly in cancers that harbor K-Ras mutations.

This study investigates the oil-water separation capability of iron-based superhydrophilic meshes. It also intends to provide an optimistic view of their potential for industrial application. Oil-water separation performance of the 150 mesh, 300 mesh, and 400 mesh is primarily examined by analyzing the efficiency and speediness of separation as well as the limit of oil intrusion using petroleum based oils.

The catalyst recovery is the major concern in commercialization of photocatalysts for the industrial effluent treatment process. To overcome this major issue, FeO based magnetic photocatalytic heterostructure ɣ-FeO/FeTiO nanocomposite was synthesized by hydrothermal method. FeO is the cheapest visible active magnetic photocatalytic material, but it has the limitation of fast e/h + recombination.

The mutation in the G6PC2 gene was identified to have a lead role in the modulation of FBG levels. The abnormal regulation of this enzyme influences glucose-stimulated insulin secretion (GSIS), which controls the insulin levels corresponding to the system's glucose level.

Observation: Low astigmatism correction in patients undergoing FLACS can be done by arcuate keratotomy incision made by femto-laser. Corneal perforation following arcuate keratotomy is commonly noted with manual incision but very few cases have been reported with femtolaser arcuate keratotomy (FSAK).
Introduction: Thalassemia is a genetically diverse group of disease which occurs due to an imbalance in the production of the alpha and beta chains with ensuring chronic hemolysis, ineffective erythropoiesis, and iron overload.
Aim And Objective: The main aim of the study is to compare the salivary flow rate, pH, buffer capacity, total antioxidant capacity, and ferritin levels in children with beta thalassemia major and healthy children.
Materials And Methods: The present study includes 40 children consisting of 20 beta thalassemia major and 20 healthy children.
is a popular medicinal herb in several Asian countries, in particular South Korea. peel (CUP) has several biologically active compounds, including flavonoids. Hence, this research aimed to label the flavonoids from CUP by HPLC-MS/MS analysis and examine their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant potential on LPS-stimulated RAW 264.

Herein, we report the synthesis and the characterization of the biomass activated carbon (AC)-decorated cobalt oxide (CoO) nanocomposites for solar-stimulated photocatalytic hydrogen production from sulphide wastewater. The CoO-AC nanocomposites were ultrasonically synthesized by using hydrothermally-grown spinel CoO nanoflakes and biomass-derived AC nanoflakes.

In the present study, amino-functional silica-coated magnetic nanocomposites with biochar synthesised from Cynodon dactylon plant residues are prepared in a single step reaction process. The synthesised nanocomposites are characterized using various analytical techniques such as FTIR to determine their functional entities, SEM, TEM, EDX and VSM to analyse the size (~50 nm), elements and magnetic nature of the nanocomposites.

Purpose: Analysis of complication profile after pterygium excision, in primary and recurrent pterygia.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of all the patients who had undergone pterygium excision in a tertiary center in South India from 2010 to 2018 was analyzed. A total of 2356 eyes in 2028 patients were included in the study.
Sustainable valorization of industrial and solid wastes by utilizing them as feedstock to generate H via the photocatalytic reforming (PR) process holds great promise. It can also be an effective method to treat solid waste that otherwise would require tedious and expensive processes. This approach has the potential to offer energy solutions and form value-added chemicals.

Innumerable photocatalysts have been reported for efficient H production, but their large-scale production with the same efficiency of H production is a challenging task. In this study, a few gram-scale syntheses of ZnS wrapped with NiO hierarchical core-shell nanostructure via the surfactant-mediated process has been reported.

Methods: Case record of patients were retrospectively analysed and those patients who had undergone pterygium excision previously, either for nasal or temporal pterygium excision and came with complaints of pterygium growth in opposite side of the bulbar conjunctiva in the same eye were included in the study. The patients with double head pterygium previously treated only over one side were also included.
Purpose: The aim of this work was to study the change in contrast sensitivity (CS) in relation to depth of stromal ablation after wavefront-optimized (WFO) myopic laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK).
Methods: This was as prospective, longitudinal, comparative study. The study participants were divided into two groups: Group 1 ≤50 μ ablation depth; 60 eyes and group 2 >50 μ ablation depth; 60 eyes.
Oxidative stress is ubiquitous in environmental stresses and prevails over the cellular metabolic and phenotypic responses in plants. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated under stress affect macromolecules to form another group of toxic compounds called reactive carbonyl compounds (RCCs). These molecules have a longer half-life than ROS and cause carbonyl stress that affects cellular metabolism, cellular homeostasis, and crop productivity.
