Explosives are perilous and noxious to aquatic biota disrupting their endocrinal systems. Supplementarily, they exhibit carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutagenic effects on humans and animals. Henceforth, the current study has been targeted to biotransform the explosive, 2, 4, 6 trinitrophenol (TNP) by wetland peroxidase from Streptomyces coelicolor.

Viral keratitis is a significant cause of ocular morbidity and visual impairment worldwide. In recent years, there has been a growing understanding of the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic modalities for viral keratitis. The most common viral pathogens associated with this condition are adenovirus, herpes simplex (HSV), and varicella-zoster virus (VZV).

6-fluoro-3-(4-piperidinyl)-1,2-benzisoxazole. HCl (FPBH), a substituted benzisoxazole derivative, was prepared from isonipecotic acid and characterized using various spectroscopic techniques. Using electrochemical examinations such as potentiodynamic polarisation (PDP) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS) technique, the corrosion mitigation capabilities of this compound for mild steel (MS) in 0.

Chylopericardium can be due to a variety of secondary causes like trauma, radiation, tumors, following cardiac surgery, etc., or may be idiopathic due to abnormal lymphatic system and mediastinal lymphangiectasia, which is a rare entity. Here, we present a case of a 34-year-old previously healthy male presenting with idiopathic chylopericardium.

Peroxidase (POX) is a heme-containing oxidoreductase, its voluminous immuno-diagnostic and bioremediatory intuitions have incited optimization and large scale-generation from novel microbial repertoires. Azo dyes are the most detrimental classes of synthetic dyes and they are the common ecotoxic industrial pollutants in wastewater. In addition, azo dyes are refractory to degradation owing to their chemical nature, comprising of azoic linkages, amino moieties with recalcitrant traits.

The development of environmentally acceptable benign techniques using purely natural methods is a cost-effective procedure with long-term benefits in all areas. With this consideration, myco synthesized silver nano particles (AgNPs) were studied and it acted as an impending corrosion inhibitor in the environment. Initially, AgNPs were evaluated by physical and surface characterizations and this evidence demonstrated that RYRE's water-soluble molecules played an essential role in the synthesis of AgNPs in nano spherical size.

Genetic improvement in coconut relies on exploiting the vast existing diversity among coconut accessions. Robust molecular markers are a pre-requisite for efficient characterization of genetic diversity. Microsatellites or simple sequence repeats (SSRs), mined from expressed sequence tags (ESTs), constitute an important resource for analysis of genetic diversity as they are abundant, polymorphic and represent function regions of the genome.

A large body of research implicates the brain and fat body (liver equivalent) as central players in coordinating growth and nutritional homeostasis in multicellular animals. In this regard, an underlying connection between immune cells and growth is also evident, although mechanistic understanding of this cross-talk is scarce. Here, we explore the importance of innate immune cells in animal growth during homeostasis and in conditions of nutrient stress.

Background: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) accounts for 3% of all malignant neoplasms and is the fifth most frequent cancer in the world. They usually spread by hematogenous or lymphatic spread, and perineural invasion (PNI) is considered an alternate method of tumor spread where it is described as the tumor affinity toward a neural tissue.

Aim And Objectives: The present study aims to evaluate the biological behavior of OSCC with respect to PNI and to evaluate the importance of PNI with respect to different histopathological grades and variants, tumor stage and lymph node status of OSCC.

Background: Ki-67 which is a non-histone nuclear protein which is expressed in proliferating cells, during all the active phases of the cell cycle. Increased Ki-67 expression has been seen in several inflammatory and malignant conditions like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, atherosclerosis, pancreatitis and squamous cell carcinoma.

Aim: The aim of the present study is to analyze the expression of Ki-67 in gingival tissues by immunohistochemistry in smokers and non-smokers with healthy gingiva and chronic periodontitis.
